"Mhmm?" As Chojusen heard Pain speak, he noticed the very intimidating Rinnegans the man had constantly activated. "I don't know about being a god, but I can confirm I'm an Immortal." Chojusen actually felt a bit threatened by Pain's eyes. He said "Do you claim to be a god?"
Hidan and Kakuzu could be seen smirking at Chojusen's remark. Hidan said "You're just an Immortal? That's barely worth anything to us, right Kakuzu?"
"That's right. We're both Immortal as well..." Even though there was a noticeable disdain in Kakuzu's tone of speech, he was a bit more grounded than Hidan. He didn't forget the miracle Chojusen had just pulled off; true rebirth. Even they couldn't do that as immortals, so Chojusen should be "somewhat" stronger than them.
Chojusen didn't bother with the two "haughty immortals," only keeping his eye on Pain. If they kept pestering him, he wouldn't mind showing them what the full Immoral Rank was capable of. However, Chojusen's malicious train of thought was cut by Pain, he said "That's nonsense. You and I both know you're a god. Who else but you or I could bring people back from the dead." Pain's eyes then narrowed as he said "Even I can't nonchalantly reincarnate people. The very act would end my life..."
"I see. So I guess your power comes from your eyes… If that's the case then I have nothing to worry about."

Chojusen didn't have time to comment on the system's snarky remarks, as Hidan moved in to try and kill him. He said "Che! If you want to get to our leader, you'll have to test your immortality against mine!" He brought up his triple bladed scythe and started to wildly swing at Chojusen.
Chojusen was not very impressed with this raging lunatic; his power and speed barely put him at the SS Rank. Chojusen didn't even use energy to stop and catch Hidan's scythe before he punched a clean hole through Hidan's chest, directly through his heart. He said "So weak and you claim to be an immortal? What a disgrace."
Chojusen took his arm out of Hidan's body and tossed him away as if he were everyday trash. However, Hidan didn't die. He screamed and cursed at Chojusen, but his wound closed at a rate visible to the human eye. As Chojusen looked at the strange phenomenon before him, he smirked. The man before him was being restored by faith energy and blood essence.
Hidan's incoherent mumbling about a Lord Jashin helped Chojusen piece together how Hidan gained his "immortality." In the universe, along with the normal elemental energies of earth, wind, fire, and so on there were special combination energies like blood essence, soul essence, and so on as well. Faith energy was the energy of… well faith. It was not something one trained, but earned through the worship of others.
When these two rather special energies came together, it can only mean that the person using the energies was the prophet of a god of slaughter. There were other types of prophets as well, but all prophets had one thing in common; fulfill the requirements of the god that has chosen you, and you shall receive that god's blessing.
Jashin being a god of slaughter, gave Hidan the immortality he craved for in exchange for a steady supply of human sacrifices. This immortality was superficial when compared to Chojusen's, as it would only restore the body and not expand the user's lifespan, power, or energy. Since Hidan's immortality only restored his body, Chojusen wondered what would happen if there was nothing to restore.
Chojusen once again used the Dust Disintegration skill and Hidan's body stopped existing. It was a quiet and unceremonious death for someone so loud and annoying. Along with Hidan's death, Chojusen felt two extreme forms of energy lock on to him. One was a faith curse from Jashin for killing off his prophet, and the other energy was beam of karmic merit.
Chojusen ignored the energies he received as he heard Pain say "Enough! We didn't come here to talk." Pain used a regular summoning to bring out the other five paths of pain and said "I'm going to take the remaining Jinchurikis now. You better not get in my way..."
"Jinchurikis? What business do you have with them?"
"Out of respect for your strenght I'll tell you. I plan on bringing about world peace with the creation a superweapon. The weapon I'm creating is made up of the nine tailed beasts, and all the remaining jinchurikis are currently here."
At this point Jiraiya said "Chojusen! You can't let him take Naruto. My spy network has been indeed picking up messages over the years of their group kidnapping the jinchurikis. However, when they take the jinchurikis, the extract them of their tailed beasts, and a jinchuriki without their tailed beast will die almost immediately."
Jiraiya had been stunned speechless when he saw Pain and a certain purple-haired woman behind him as he recognized them as his former students Yahiko and Konan! But, the events had proceeded too fast and he only had time to speak up now, to protect his godson.

[Bonus Mission Alert~
Bonus Mission C): Beat Pain "Fair and Square;" don't use more than five clones. Reward: Will improve the Bonus after the Chain Mission Ends.]
"I'm afraid I can't allow you to have your way. Now let's fight!" Chojusen called five of his clones from his personal dimension to keep the five paths Pain summoned at bay, while he fought the Deva Path.
Pain was no easy fight. All six of the paths before Chojusen were easily above the Demi-Immortal Rank. The Deva Path being the strongest, as it received the most energy from Pain's true body. The clones could just barely keep the Human, Animal, Asura, Petra, and Naraka Paths at bay. They were basically as even as possible with regards to physical combat, so these fights would either be determined by special ninjutsu or after the main bodies finished their fights.
The Rinnegan was truly an overpowered artifact as it allowed Nagato so much power even though he didn't earn it.
Chojusen experienced a new form of combat during this fight. He learned how useful Gravity could be in the midst of a fight as the Deva Path, practically spammed this technique every five seconds to try and disorient Chojusen. It worked the first time, and Chojusen received a punch for the first time in years because of the sneak attack. He was blasted a couple kilometers from his original position because of his little trick.
However, the second time Pain tried to bamboozle Chojusen, he just canceled Pain's gravity manipulation with his own and landed his own punch. If Pain's body wasn't a corpse supported by Rinnegan magic, the fight surely would have ended then and there. However, that was not the case, and Pain flew back to meet Chojusen for a fight as if he hadn't just been punched out of sight.
It didn't take long for Chojusen to learn that Pain could only use his gravitational abilities every five seconds and he thoroughly exploited the discovery. When Pain was on his cool down, Chojusen would experiment with ways to beat him down under the effects of gravitational restriction. For the first cooldown period, Chojusen stopped Pain in his tracks, solely through the use of his Gravity and not with his Space Locking, and unleashed a devastating barrage of punches and kicks his way. Five seconds later, Pain escaped and countered with his own gravity technique, but was forced back into submission when his ability ran out of power.
He knew he couldn't keep this up as it would just drain him of his energy, so Nagato took a deep breath and mentality prepared himself for the next moment he escaped Chojusen's Gravity restriction. As he waited Chojusen used his Gravity to ragdoll Pain's body across the air. He smashed his body against the floor and through several hundred trees across several directions; leaving behind a terrifying scene to all those who spectated their fight.
When Pain got his chance, he clasped his hands together and uttered "Planetary Devastation!" before releasing a void black ball of compressed space laws up into the sky. Chojusen now looked concerned as he recognized that the space laws were more advanced that his, he knew that getting caught up in whatever Pain just conjured would be very bad news for him.
But as he looked at the small ball, he slowly decoded the profound use of the space law principles. He felt his understanding of the space laws improve by the second, yet that excited feeling of rapid mastery waned when he saw the effects of Pain's space ability. Once the black ball stopped flying up in the air, Pain stopped assuming a praying position and rose his arms up, as if to command all of matter to fall into his black hole; and it did.
The earth rose, trees were uprooted, even entire chucks of the battlefields that Chojusen and Pain had fried started to fly towards the black hole. And as the black hole consumed more and more mass, it became larger and larger. It became so large so fast, that Chojusen had no choice but to use a large scale apprach to counter.
Pain couldn't keep growing his black hole much more, so he allowed the black hole to cease its function and fall to the earth as a mountain sized meteor. During the time he grew the Meteorite, Pain tried to use his powers of attraction to bind Chojusen to the meteor, but Chojusen would just cancel out his effects with his Gravity skill.
Chojusen used his Full Multisize technique to the absolute max, to become a 285 meter tall giant. In this giant form, he called Chokogo to his side and entered the second strongest physical state he could at the moment, when he entered Fiendgod Butterfly Sage Mode. Chokogo was in her full size as well, so what would otherwise be just blazing black chakra wings were Chokogo's real Butterfly Wings.
Chojusen then used Air Walking and caught the meteorite flying from the sky. Even in his giant form, he looked like an ant carrying a boulder. Then at the cost of several billion energy points, Chojusen teleported himself with the massive boulder out somewhere in space and threw the mountain-sized boulder away.
