Chapter 33 - Before the Chunin Exams Part 2

Next Chojusen went to the Hyuga compound to help Hinata and Neji. Neji said he only wanted to perfect his field of divination and palm style attacks, so Chojusen just had a couple spars with Neji, pointing out all the flaws in his technique and stance.

Hinata however, faced a completely different problem. Her style of fighting did not coincide with the Gentle Fist, so she wanted to learn a completely new style of taijutsu. As someone how activated all his chakra points before even being born, Chojusen knew a lot about the topic. Chojusen was also a battle-hardened veteran, so he also did spars with Hinata and the two of them brainstormed ways to create a new style of taijutsu.

At one point, when Chojusen was fighting with soft methods, Hinata had a moment of enlightenment and decided to try and create a style of taijutsu that incorporated the influence of targeting chakra points, with the soft method of Chojusen's taijutsu. Now that a path had appeared before her, she only needed to practice a bit more to complete the new style.

Next on Chojusen's list was Tenten. Chojusen had no idea how, but as he made his way over to her house, he actually felt that she was using spacetime abilities; they were so weak that they were almost undetectable, but they still existed. He saw that she was using space energy to summon and seal weapons, so he decided to teach her the most basic applications of space energy to help her out a little bit; he couldn't show her too much or his cover would be blow yet again.

For Kimimaro and Lee, Chojusen taught them how to use Yang Transfusion. He taught Kimimaro to not lose too much of his vitality from generating bone mass and Lee because yang was surprisingly the only energy type that he could somewhat efficiently control; even with his near worthless amounts of chakra. Yang Transfusion would also be incredibly helpful in prolonging the time Lee could stay with his Hidden Gates opened, as well as reduce the time before he could use the technique again.

Chojusen gave Haku some insights into controlling ice and water particles to better perfect his techniques and or create new ones.

The last two people on his list were Naruto and Sasuke and both of them actually helped Chojusen as much as he helped them.

Naruto was learning two techniques during the time before the Chunin exams, one was a summoning technique for toads, and the other was one of his father's signature moves; the Rasengan. To help Naruto improve these skills, he used Chokogo once again as an example for improving the summoning technique. As for the Rasengan, Chojusen had a bit of inspiration while watching how it worked from Naruto's hands and tried to recreate it himself.

The result was unstable, until he added an elemental property to the Rasengan. Chojusen made a Rasengan exclusively out of Fire Law Principles and the system gave him a prompt for the creation of a new skill.

[Host has learned the skill: Supernova

Supernova (Rank DI | 0/100: The user uses Fire Law Principles to create a miniature functioning star that detonates into a cataclysmic event upon collision with another object. Current Effect: Completely disintegrates everything within a five kilometer radius and everything for the next twenty kilometers blazes with inextinguishable flames.)]

The skill was so unbelievable that Chojusen actually yelled out loud "Oh my god!"

Naruto looked at Chojusen with a weird look, wondering why he was yelling until he looked at Chojusen's hand and saw the little spinning fire Rasengan. The idea to add an elemental nature to his Ransagen was then born, and Naruto profusely thanked Chojusen; he was so happy with the idea that he forgot that Chojusen achieved this on his first try…

Through his soul, Chojusen said "System isn't this a bit too ridiculous?"

[Are you talking about the skill?]

"Yes! What else would I be talking about?"

[What is so unbelievable about the skill? All it can do is wipe out a mere five to twenty kilometer block of land. If you stomped on the ground as hard as you can right now, you could probably create an earthquake that affects a much larger area… Don't talk to me about ridiculous skills until you at least reach the point where you can destroy planets.]

This system was so unbelievable. Blow up planets? Chojusen really shouldn't be too surprised, the system did say it was going to help Chojusen become a god.

Now that Chojusen helped Naruto, he moved to Sasuke. Before reaching Sasuke's house, Chojusen passed through the Uchiha territory and could not stop hearing people talk about him. Perhaps these people did not think that he could hear them and their constant uttering of him being a Sage was starting to annoy him.

This happens every time he entered the Uchiha territory; it seemed that most Uchiha did not like that he was more talented than their Clan's heir. However, the feeling he had never escalated from annoyance as Chojusen was very good friends with both Sasuke and Itachi. Even if they didn't immediately hit it off upon first meeting, Sasuke had grown out of his once edgy personality and was more amicable now.

When Chojusen reached Sasuke's house, the first person to greet him at the door was Sasuke's mom. She was a nice lady that treated Chojusen well, in fact everyone in Sasuke's immediate family treated him well. Chojusen asked to see Sasuke and the latter was called down to go meet Chojusen at the door.

Chojusen asked him if there were anything techniques he was trying to master and learned that Sasuke was learning fire and lightning techniques. Chojusen then got permission to train with Sasuke in the backyard and the two immediately got down to business.

As Sasuke when through to show Chojusen what he was working on, Chojusen had to admit that Sasuke was indeed a genius. His teacher, Kakashi, had been teaching him lightning techniques for a year and he had already been trying to create his own. Currently, he was working on a technique that used both fire and lightning to create a ridiculous effect.

Sasuke would use fire style technique to create storm condition if none were present, and then he would use the lightning in the storm that he created to call upon a dragon of lightning energy. At least that's what he was trying to achieve. Chojusen concluded that he would never be able to complete the technique now, as his chakra control was not at the particle level.

Chojusen taught Sasuke his air walking to improve his chakra control to the required level and as Sasuke worked on learning his method, Chojusen once again had a bit of inspiration from Sasuke's technique and tried to make his own version. He created quite severe storm conditions by manipulating the fire laws around him, and used lightning laws to call upon the lightning in the storm clouds he generated.

Even before his plan could take off, he ran into some problems. The most pressing of which, was the amount of attention he received from the ninjas concerned over the dramatic change in weather. This issue only got worse as Chojusen had to either let the storm progress naturally or use the lightning laws like Sasuke intended for the technique to work.

Letting the storm ravage the village was not too pleasant a thought, so Chojusen opted to go for option two. He didn't want to decimate the village either, so he called the thunder laws down from the clouds to come down in the form of a small ball. To the Uchihas that chose to look at Chojusen's actions through their Sharingans, this was the most horrifying thing they had seen in their entire lives.

The ball of lightning that Chojusen caught didn't look like much to Sasuke who hadn't awakened his Sharingan yet, but to those who did have the Sharingan, the lightning looked so concentrated, so pure, that it was absolutely blinding under the lense of Chakra detection.

Fugaku Uchiha, Sasuke's father, was looking at the scene play out in his backyard and tried his best to not panic. He tried his best to look calm, walked over to Chojusen, and said "Uh, C-Chojusen, could you please follow me to dispose of that… lightning ball..."

Chojusen was happy that Fugaku kept it together in front of Sasuke and compiled. The two of them then walked very far from the village before Chojusen told Fugaku to stay away while he threw away the lightning ball. He couldn't just dissipate it like he did for his Supernova, as the lightning ball was made up of the world's natural lightning laws and his Supernova was made up of his own energy converted into Fire Law Principles.

When Chojusen was far away for Fugaku to not see him, he teleported another fifty kilometers away and launched the lightning ball far off into the distance. The scene that play before his eyes was a quite the spectacle to watch. Nothing happened until the lightning ball touched the ground many kilometers away from where Chojusen stood, but upon contact with the floor, the lightning ball fragmented and a booming sound stretched across hundreds of kilometers; even people back in the Hidden Leaf Village could here the boom echo out.

Chojusen saw with his eyes a field of chaotic lightning bounce around for a couple minutes before it died out and left a massive field of craters behind. The system then gave him another prompt.

[Host has created the skill: Lightning Field

Lightning Field (DI | 0/100): Create a mass of lightning that fragments and turns into a field of pure lightning law principles upon collision. Current Effect: Completely vaporizes everything within a five kilometer radius and everything for the next twenty kilometers is struck with soul extinguishing lightning.]

Chojusen came back to Fugaku, who looked at him like a monster for a second, but then quickly casted that look aside. The two of them then went back to the Hidden Leaf Village where when questioned, Chojusen said it was just Sage Powers.

For the remaining time of the week Chojusen walked around each day to help each of his friends make progress with what he taught them.
