Chapter 23 - Rooh Fizel

CHAPTER 23: Rooh Fizel

Rooh Fizel in a conversation with Princess Theba and Prince Emmer reported his concern of this appointment in a rather sensitive position.

After that scare of both the Emperor and the Prince, both of which had a physical breakdown, with the temporary weakening of the Emperor after the Transfer and Emmer's temporary loss of Memory control, they were able to regain the initial strength they had. There is a marked mellowing on the side of the Emperor. The apparent Memory-Transfer made the Emperor more relaxed and made Emmer a bit more in control.

Emmer's nominal assumption to the throne and the unannounced formal wedding of Theba Xai (which was Maress Ia before she got the formality of being the wife of the Prince) made him a little more assertive in the affairs of the Empire, even more so than before. His real assumption to the throne is the day Emperor Egher decides to die or when he dies. That'll take a very long time indeed.

"So, I need a better reason for your assumption to your position rather than what you feel about it. Mekholis do not consider feelings of concern when given the responsibility."

Rooh Fizel, standing a few meters away from where the Princely Thrones stand. Prince Emmer and Princess Theba is surrounded by several Aleggons, all standing in a semi-circular arc around the would-be Emperor, all facing away from the two Royals except for Leeh Xamai, who stands directly behind the thrones, facing the same direction as the two, both looking directly to the new Throne Ambassador.

"I am sorry, my Majesty. The Throne Ambassador it seems, is that I represent you or the Emperor in matters where either you or any of the Royals cannot personally attend to. That is also a huge responsibility as I will be visiting a lot of stellar systems."

"The Star Sailors and the Couriers will accompany you, especially Lah Farai and Lah Ribheg, whom you will also send as your representative."

Theba noted the rather unusually worried face of a morpher like Rooh Fizel. He has such a distinctively expressive body and face motions, as if he is about to morph any part of his body anytime.

From Zebedee's observation in another position facing Emmer's throne, Rooh Fizel appears like a yellowish goo, shaped like a melting piece of flesh with a visible visage that ripples and expands as he talks and shows his emotions such that anyone can detect his thoughts. He looks like a human whose muscles keep rippling but not in a nice-looking way, almost hideous. This however appears normal both Royals, entertaining an audience that is common around them.

"You should thank Our Empress Q'ara for her recommendations that Rooh Zivel wrote to the Emperor. You managed to impress her with your ability to create music and songs. But you should morph into a Lexai or Akhmadian form as always and make it appear like you look like us too. Being a Throne Ambassador can be usually mistaken as our relative or even us," Emmer continued.

"That has come to my mind as well too," said Rooh Fizel.

"You should at least look more the Couriers than us," Theba said. Appearing as another kind of creature may feel like you appear as another."

"Its why precisely Mother recommended him, being the highest positioned Oinoskamb. His ability to morph into us makes the position even more believable," Emmer told Theba, to which Theba also appeared to agree with.

"I am thankful for your trust, Majestic One."

"Ah, that's it. You can appear Majestic. Thank you for your concern but rest assured, the Empress trusts you very much."

The creature then quickly turned into what looks like a Royal form, complete with clothes, before bowing and moving away.

Zebedee was amazed at the quick transformation of the Oinoskamb. An ability that they exclusively have.

Emmer than stood up from the Throne while Theba followed Rooh Fizel.

Emmer then was followed by Leeh Xamai while the Throne Guards remained in place.

"How's the life of the sole Homo sapiens sapiensis?" as Emmer smiled. Theba on the other hand signaled something to Emmer which the Prince appears to understand.

"What's with those gestures? "Zebedee asked, rather a bit rude to Leeh Xamai.

"Address him as Royal Highness!" The Guard said.

"No need Leeh Xamai. He's a very good friend," said Emmer. "And for you, Theba said she'll direct the Rooh how to do other things as a Throne Ambassador."

"Oh!" as the floater appeared to sense the proximity of the Royal Son, managing to lower Zebedee.
