Xia Ling lifted her head and thanked the head nurse again. "It's really delicious."
Thus, the professional smile on her face faded away, and she let out a warm and sincere smile. "I think so too. When I just got married to my husband, he didn't know how to do anything. These years, as I had to work late at night, he learned everything. And now, the family's meals are made by him."
Perhaps the night shift was lonely. She stayed beside Xia Ling and took care of her while chatting about her family life. "My husband doesn't make much money, and he can't even pay the house mortgage by himself. However, he treats me very well and doesn't mind doing the dirty work. During these many years of marriage, he never let me suffer any sort of grievance."
As the head nurse spoke, she smiled. "I'm also content."
