"I was only asking a question. It's no skin off your back if you answer." Mu Xiaoxiao glared at Chris, expressing her displeasure. When he was at the castle he had very kind to her. Why was he treating her like this now?
Chris seemed to be able to see through her. He smirked and said, "Why should I answer your questions when you asked me in such a rude manner?"
Mu Xiaoxiao froze for a moment.
Yin Shaojie stepped up and said, "Sorry, Xiaoxiao tends to be brash. We're just curious for an answer. There was no engagement party at all, right?"
He asked bluntly, without giving Chris the opportunity to reject him.
Mu Xiaoxiao stared at Chris as she waited for the answer.
Chris cast a sidelong glance at her. With a faint smirk, he stood up and said to her, "No comment."
Mu Xiaoxiao's little hands clenched into fists as she glared at him.
