That night, Bai Sheng slept fitfully. In her sleep, she vaguely heard a little boy calling her name.
"Sheng'er…"
"Sheng'er!"
In the dream, she vaguely saw a car. Sitting in the backseat, she turned around. A thin figure was getting further and further away, and the shouts of "Sheng'er" faded.
Bai Sheng's eyes snapped open and she sat up on the bed. She realized that the sky had already brightened.
The memory of the dream had faded, but the voice calling out "Sheng'er" still lingered in her ears.
She really couldn't remember anything about her childhood. She had even almost forgotten what her parents looked like.
Time is the most powerful amnesiac. It seems to be able to dilute everything. She vaguely remembered that there was a boy who always liked to call her Sheng'er. However, she had no memory of his name or surname.
