Baby Chu hooked his finger, indicating for the puppy to come closer to him, but the dog did not dare to do so. In the end, he broke the ham in half and tempted it with the piece. The puppy looked warily at him still, wanting to go forward yet fearing being hurt.
In the end, the boy simply put the halved ham on the side and could not care more. After that, he focused on eat his share.
When the puppy saw that the boy was no longer observing, it carefully crept forward and clawed the piece of ham with its paws. With the meat safely delivered to its mouth, it crawled to a corner and gnawed the food in relish.
Perhaps the two of them were so hungry that they both finished off the ham in one straight sitting.
The puppy also gradually let down its guard and slowly went up to cuddle against him. It was seemingly not afraid of him as it sniffed his coat and prodded him.
