"Impressive," said Huo Run wholeheartedly.
Mo Ning chuckled and carried on dancing with her.
A moment later, Huo Run suddenly initiated, "Mo Ning, I think my parents like you a lot."
"Really? Great." Swaying slowly to the music, Mo Ning seemed to not notice the changes in Huo Run's eyes with her head lowered, to a point where her cheeks were right before Huo Run's ears, as she whispered, "Everyone said that it's the hardest to please father as a son-in-law. No one likes their daughter being snatched away by some other man. Now it looks like I wouldn't have this problem. What a joy."
"You're the son-in-law!" And there Huo Run realized she had actually made a confession akin to a proposal. She blushed, "I'm sorry. What were you saying?"
"Did I say anything?"
"You!" Huo Run turned her head away and nearly tripped herself again.
Mo Ning then slowed down further to get Huo Run back on track.
