She took in quite a few deep breaths before she held back the sourness rising from her throat and turned to the man beside her.
Mu Yuchen's calm gaze remained as deep as the sea. You could not see a hint of change from his handsome face, yet his hand that held her by the wrist tightened. She could feel him tensing up but she did not make a sound.
Moments after that, Mu Yuchen said that with a lowered voice, "Let's go home. This place doesn't need us anymore. I'll give Li Si a call. Het him to help Yang Sheng with the funeral."
While he announced that, he pulled Xi Xiaye back towards the car as he took out his phone and called Li Si's number.
