In this cave was a creature constructed in a lab in the former Soviet Union. It had been brought here to this small town in Maine to be unleashed on this country to bring death and destruction to the people of America. It had been placed in hibernation and sealed in a cave under a long abandon church. The creature would be unleashed at the correct time but then the Soviet Union collapsed and that had put a delay on the plan.
The man crept into the cave and went to where the creature had been put typing on the keypad he brought up the command to awaken the creature. It was time the man had thought he had lived among these people since the sixties and was tired of them he wished for the old days. He wanted nothing more than for these creatures to arise again and wipe the earth of all humankind.
Science had created this creature had a super human strength and could fly. Its saliva could alter human DNA and transform any it bit or killed into a creature like it. The professor who created it was a mad genius. He was the most advance Bio Engineer in the world, and his dream was to have these creatures around the globe.
The man was ready to leave now and let the creature spread its plague upon this country. After it was all done, he would have his dream these creatures would be all over the earth and nothing anyone could do to stop him. He decided was time for him to go it was going to be active in a few moments and he wished to leave it alone to gather its thoughts. It could think on its own and act without any direction from the creature it was a pure creature of evil who lived on the living blood of humans.
The man slipped out the back entrance to the cave through the catacombs of the old church he headed to his apartment to await the coming storm.
The creature's eyes open did he hear a voice of children he thought? Yes, it came again this time a little louder, he begins to move toward the sound scurrying atop the roof like a spider waiting to drop and devour its prey. None had been in this tomb a long time since they had sealed it, why now, who had entered his layer?
He made his way to where the noise was coming from, and he watched wondering if he would be to feed but being more cautious than those years before. From a distance a slight light appeared, he could see the heat coming from human's body's, and he could hear their heart beating. They were children that had stumble on to his tomb. Moving so that he was hidden by the shadows he made his way to where he could hide in the shadows in not be seen.
Wow, how did you find this place Mike and Brian said together to their best friend, Joey! I know last week I thought I saw something behind that old church ruins so I look around and I just found the entrance to this cave.
I was alone an I didn't want to explore alone. So, that is why you invited us because your chicken mike said playfully, no telling what Joey could be down here said. If you want my two cents, we should stay out of it said, Mike. It smells funny too how do we know this isn't like poison gas remember those kids that got killed because they had gone into that old cave and died cause of the poison gas last year? Well mike if it was you be dead by now your big dummy, Brian explained irritably.
The evil watched them from the shadows as their light beam's cuts through the darkness, there is three of them. He could move and strike fast, but the creature knew three children missing might bring others and then possibly bring a soldier that could destroy him. He was still weak and couldn't defend himself against attackers like the ones who had sealed him in here. He would wait to tell the time was right and when he was stronger. So, he turned and headed back toward his layer then stop for a moment and watch the children a little longer. He knew that the time would come to be able to feast on the blood of these children, but the time wasn't now.
It's is spooky said, Mike, I want to go back because there might be a mountain lion or something worse in here with us. What are you a big old chicken Brian said to mike teasing him? Well, I don't want to die in some stinking old cave and were maybe a mountain lion or whatever else lives in here. Perhaps there is a monster who would like to eat my brain. You got to have a brain. First Brian said laughing. Stop it both of you Joey said I thought I saw something moving toward the back of the cave.
The creature let out a gutter growl that froze the three boys in their steps. What was that Mike asked in a terrified voice? I I I don't know Brian said nervously, it was probably just the wind said Joey was trying to sound brave, I never heard the wind make that sound countered mike! They at ounce notice toward the back of the cave a black shadow disappears deeper back into the cave, that was all the boys needed, and they were gone in a sprint headed out of the cave.
What was that Mike as the other two boys? They were all breathing heavy from the run, standing at a safe distance from the mouth of the entrance, Joey said maybe a cat or a dog that stays in there. I don't know joey, that did not sound like a dog or a cat explained Brian. I'm not going back in there ever again that is for sure, and they all three agreed to keep this secret cause their parents would kill them fast than what was in that cave.
The creature moved through the cave and came to rest near a large hole that went vertical on back further into the cave where he would sleep.
