The Yang Energy grew fainter and fainter, while Yin Energy entered through his pores, slowly infiltrating his marrow. Only a spot of warmth at his heart remained undispersed, sustaining his life.
Just then, a piercing sword's whistle sounded, rushing straight toward them.
"Boom!" A loud noise exploded at the entrance of the hall.
"Barbarian brat!" the voice of Supreme Elder Shi boomed; when he uttered the first syllable, the voice was still far away, by the last, it had arrived at the hall's entrance. He stepped into the hall, flicking his sleeve, "Daring to touch our ruler, such audacity!"
Faces of the Great Witches opposite him turned angry, one of them speaking in the awkward Beiming language, "The Demon Emperor slaughtered our ancestors; his death is more than deserved!"
Supreme Elder Shi laughed, "Oh, you even know how to say 'death is more than deserved'. Not bad! But, no matter how well you speak the Beiming language, you can't be let go today!"
