“Is it normal during the day? What about at night?”Jiang Fei accurately heard the part that Eddie did not say.
“At night...”Eddie’s face revealed a strange expression.
“What’s Wrong?”Jiang Fei asked.
“If you’re on duty at night, you have to do one thing,”Eddie said.
“What?”Jiang Fei asked.
“Be less curious!”Eddie said.
“What do you mean?”Jiang Fei did not understand.
“Just walk around the patrol route. Don’t look back if you have nothing to do. If you hear anything, don’t look back out of curiosity. Everything will be fine!”Eddie said.
“What if you turn back?”Jiang Fei asked.
“That’s hard to say. I can only say that you’re my fifth partner,”Eddie said with a smile.
Jiang Fei did not say anything. The meaning behind Eddie’s words was obvious. The four unlucky fellows before Jiang Fei were definitely either dead or missing.
