The letter was supposed to be a request for reinforcements. However, by the outcome of the fight, the request was useless since the fortress that Walkers held was destroyed and Walkers himself had died.
Ivan turned to Jiang Fei and said, "My brother, you have my thanks for delivering this important document. However, I am unable to have my revenge for Walkers since we are currently at war with the Divine Light Fortress. I have a favor to ask of you. Since we are of the same blood, I would not hold back. I need your help!"
"What can I help you with?" replied Jiang Fei. He was expecting it since the letter delivery quest was the most vanilla method to start a quest.
