The sand pillar didn't attack Lin Yi, mostly because of the rainbow soul-devouring grass. Lin Yi wasn't sure if Daniya was immune to the sand pillar's attacks.
However, Lin Yi used his own spirit sense to wrap around Daniya. There shouldn't be any problem, right?
