Lin Yi parked the car in front of the orphanage. One look at that run-down building and Lin Yi felt that things were hard on Xiaoke, for her to be holding up this entire place on her own.
In the car, Xiaoke had been talking to Mengyao and Yushu about a lot of things regarding the orphanage as well, telling them about the kids there and how sad their situation was. Although, words didn't do them justice at all.
If it weren't for Lin Yi coming here today, Mengyao and Yushu would never find out about this orphanage in Songshan for their entire lives! They did donate money before, but it was always to some far away poor district. They would have never thought that there'd be a poor place like this right in the middle of Songshan city!
"It looks run-down, doesn't it…" Xiaoke felt awkward- these two were clearly rich people, and coming here wouldn't bode well with them at all.
