Lin Yi was undoubtedly the newest addition to the mansion which brought confusion to Chu Mengyao. However, after she fully accepted his existence, she became unwilling to let him leave.
Lin Yi took care of her in every single way possible. He took better care of her than her Dad and Uncle Fu! She lacked maternal love and finally found her own happiness, and she even dreamed of Lin Yi staying here forever to take care of her and Shu.
However, Chu Mengyao knew that it was impossible since Tang Yun in between them. It was also why she held hostility towards Tang Yun! She didn't think it was because she liked Lin Yi but because Tang Yun took away the happiness which belonged to her!
