Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 : Class 11-8F (Part 1)

Today is the start of school. The students from middle school to university all went to see the match. After all, it was a duel with pride on the line. Even more important was the fact that the 29th strongest teacher in combat was against the madman's disciple. It was going to be an exciting match!

The duel was scheduled at dawn. It was still night when Astrea arrived on the scene but many were already waiting. When the audience saw her, they were stunned. Such a beautiful woman was actually the crazy bastard's student. They made a path for her and she walked into the center of the cemetery.

It was on a hill west from the school hence its name Westhill. Morrigan obliviously chose this place as she was a necromancer. But choosing a resting place as a battleground still felt wrong.

The referee was here but Morrigan wasn't. She just stood there letting the time to pass.

The sun raised and she could finally see her opponent. The little girl was carried by her puppet Simon to the arena. He put her down.

This time, she wore an even more beautiful red dress and her hair was tied into two buns. It seemed were hard to move around with it. Compared to her, Astrea just wore a tank top, tight pants, and running shoes. Her hair was braided and she still wore her bracelet on her left wrist.

As the fighters arrived, the referee announced the rules of the fight.

"No help exterior allowed."

"Everything else is allowed."

"The fight end when someone surrenders or die."

"Did you understand?"

"Yes!" "Yes."

"Then. The fight may begin."

After he finished his sentence, Simon rushed to Astrea. While he did that, Morrigan quickly chanted a spell to strengthen him.

Astrea wanted to show her might so it would discourage future opponents from appearing.

And so, she circulated her energy around her body and met her fist with the buffed Simon. The impact caused a shockwave and sent the big man into the audience. While Morrigan was stunned, Astrea quickly caught her by the throat and lifted her up.

"Do you surrender?" she coldly asked.

Morrigan couldn't talk so she only nodded... Astrea let her go. Before she fell, Simon caught her.

She curled into herself and began to sob.

"Will you announced the winner" expressionlessly said Astrea.

The referee was shocked by how quick it ended. But hearing her voice, he quickly snapped out of it.

"The opponent must say it with her own voice."

He suddenly felt guilty as he looked at Morrigan. The girl was evidently not in a state where she could talk. Instead, it was the cat doll Misha who responded.

"Our side give up."

"Then I declare Astrea Elysium as the winner."

The audience applauded but there was no cheer. After all, seeing her brutally catching a little girl by the throat was disturbing even if she was 532 years old.

Astrea didn't understand how this little girl could be ranked 29th until she heard Misha talk. From its voice, she could feel an oppressing power. No wonder teacher tore it into pieces, it was really a disagreeable presence. But she knew it was caused by their opposite type of power. Hers was made of light and positivity while there was gloomy and full of breaths of death.

Astrea left the field without looking back and returned to her room to change her cloth.

'Seems like I fought her while she was in a weakened state... I suppose it won't be enough to make them stop.'

After being done she knocked on Cecilia's door. It was quickly opened and when she saw Astrea was safe and sound, she jumped on her for a hug.

"You are okay!!! I'm sorry I didn't come. I was too afraid of being surrounded."

"No, it's fine. Your security is more important."

"How did it go?"

"I easily defeated her. However, she wasn't in her optimal state and the other teachers knew it so I don't think it will be the end of it."

"Huuu... How unfair for you."

"What can I do? Let's go and eat. School is gonna start soon."

"Yes!"

They ate and left together. Arriving there, they separated. Each joined their own classroom. Cecilia took care of middle schooler in 6th grade. Astrea was supposed to be the homeroom teacher of 11th graders. She didn't know why she was even supposed to be a homeroom teacher when she had no experience whatsoever. And she will almost never see them after this unless they took her course.

This school was absurdly too big. There were more than ten thousands of students for elementary school. And it increases even further in grade. The school's history and rank played a big role in this. Every school grades building was as big as a town. The only time all the students would meet was during the school festival when they go to their optional courses when they walk in the city or in their dormitory.

The class she has to oversee this year is the lowest of the low. Great potential but no rule, no solidarity. It was class 11-8F. 11 for their grade and F like the lowest score and 8 for being the last out of the eight Fs class available. They gave her the worst one as she arrived late.

The bell rang. It was time to head into class. She was in front of the door and readied herself. Her nervousness was translated by a frown on her face. She was about to open the door when she suddenly dodged to the side. The door flew away with a student on it. He hit the window and fell from the third floor.

Astrea jumped to catch him. The student was falling vertically so his falling speed would make him crash on the ground first before she could even touch him. She raised her right hand and his fall slowed down until she could finally catch him. Before she entered in contact with the ground, the same weird phenomenon happened once again and she slowed down. She gently landed while holding the student in a princess carry.

She studied the injury on him. He was hit on the face and she could feel several broken ribs. She quickly put him down. She pulled out her phone to call the infirmary. While calling she turned her head to look at the building.

The commotion it caused was big but no one was out to look. She heard from Cecilia it happened quite frequently so everyone got used to it. But she was not.

A transport vehicle arrived in less than five minutes. During this time, three other students got hurt and waited with her for the ambulance to arrive. The doctors took them and quickly went away to look for other injured. Astrea scrunched her brows even more after knowing that.

She returned to her class only to see it wide open. She got even more annoyed. By the time she entered, she was surrounded by a frosty aura. Mixed with her sharp eyes and frowning brow, it put a lot of pressure on the students. She observed them and of course, it was filled in majority with boys. Out of thirty-two students, only five were girls.

This time the corners of her mouth were pulled down which made her seems even madder.

But to the student of this class, it only made them have even more rebellious thoughts.
