Chereads / Priestess Of The Land / Chapter 121 - Adulterer

Chapter 121 - Adulterer

Tria had eventually made it out of the washing room, and both her and Crei pretended as if nothing had happened. He had already ordered brunch for both of them and he prepared the table.

"Let's eat, I'm not sure we'll be able to later," Crei said, inviting her to sit.

"Haha, why not, I'll have this food, and I'll be sure to enjoy tonight's feast as well, after all, they are cooking for me," she said cockily.

Crei laughed out loud.

"When I went away for a bit, I could hear the commotion from the city all the way over here, they are already expecting you," Crei said before picking up some warm bread and handing to Tria.

"Hmm, I can't wait to see what will happen, even though I have my own plan prepared, there are so many wild factors."

"No matter what they may be, you're ready, and I'll be right next to you, always," he said to her smiling.

Before Tria could answer Crei, Ka'an had knocked their doors and announcing it was her.

"Come on in, Ka'an," Tria said, and going towards the door, it must be something urgent if Ka'an had come.

"Princess, Ra Ashir has come asking for you, and I've already tried to turn him away, but he refuses, threatening to tell everyone about your lies. I continued to shove him away, but he started yelling out saying you were an adulterer, and that you were seen with another man in the Moon Land..."

Ka'an was going to say more, but she noticed the cold aura coming from Tria so she slowly quieted down.

"Is that so? Bring in the guest then," Tria said and went back to the table to eat.

Crei did not say anything, neither did he move, but he wasn't happy either.

Ka'an directed Ra Ashir inside Tria's courtyard, where he witnessed the fancy brunch she and her husband were enjoying. He had not been able to keep living the lifestyle he used to since he was demoted, therefore seeing the food on table momentarily distracted him.

"Can I help you, minister Ashir?" Tria's cold voice hit Ra's ears.

Hearing her tone made him upset, but he couldn't berate her in front of the silent devil next to her, but he was sure that if he was to tell him of her feats, he wouldn't have to do anything.

"Dear daughter, I would watch the tone, if I was you," he said and continuing to walk forward before he bowed towards Crei.

"I would laugh at this joke, but I am not in the mood. Minister Ashir, your eyes seems healed, but somehow you fail to see, will you not pay your respect to this princess as well," she said then crossed her legs eloquently.

Something was wrong, Ra Ashir felt it, the daughter he had raised was not the same daughter sitting in front of him. The person in front of him was strong, powerful, exuding the most grace that even the empress cannot compare to. Although he was fearful of her, he could not go back empty-handed, he had made it this far.

"What princess? you mean the one who had left her husband and went to the moon land to have an affair with an unknown man, you adulterer! If you don't want the world to know, I suggest you give twenty million- no, fifty million hedj to shut me up," he proudly said then decided to leave, and added," by the end of today."

BAM!!!!

Before he could make it to the door, it had magically shut right in his face.

"Mi- Nis- Ter Ashir!!! This is the second time someone had dared to insult my wife right in front of me as if I am invisible. Given that you were there the first time this has happened, and you even witness that person's outcome, I would think that you would know better, but obviously not," these words came out of Crei's lips slowly, as slow as the way they entered Ra's ears like snakes entering his soul.

Pointing his hand towards Ra's body, he used his energy to throw him from the ground over the gates outside.

"Constantly looking for his own death, does he think it's luck that's keeping him alive?" Crei was utterly upset, even though Tria had told him about those sisters who had seen them back in the Moon Land, and knew this was going to happen, he simply could not control himself. He could never allow anyone to speak ill of his wife, not ever.
