Tria stared at Crei intently.
"At some point, you're going to have to tell me the truth husband. You have traveled with me for this long, I hope you realized that I am someone that you can trust."
Crei felt hurt and guilty after hearing her words.
"Wifey, there is no one that I trust more, it's just that this is not a matter of trust, I only care for your safety."
"I'm not too shabby at protecting myself, besides I have you, I have Chukah and Hepri, I'm some weak and feeble woman," Tria said, trying to flex her muscles.
Crei laughed at her cuteness, then he approached her, pinching her tender cheeks.
"Owwie!" Tria cried in pain.
"Hmm, my wifey is a strong woman who can't even handle a little pinch," he said laughing.
"So unfair, let me pinch your cheeks and see if you feel no pain," she said pouting.
"Wifey," Crei started holding on to her face," we have only just returned, how about I 'show' you tonight, what I am, as well as telling you the whole truth?"
Tria looked up at the handsome face and his clear genuine eyes staring down so sincerely at her.
"Sure, I waited this long, I can wait an afternoon longer."
Crei pulled her in and hugged tightly.
"It's been a while since we've hugged, I missed you."
"I missed you too."
Reminded by whistles and low gasps, Crei and Tria were reminded that they were in the middle of the streets. Walking ahead like nothing happening, they left behind sour people telling their stories across the city.
They had rushed up to the prince's manor, and welcomed by Ka'an and Khen, and Voni. As well as Djo and Dja, who had become a pair of beautiful children.
"Big sister, we're so glad you're you're back!" Dja said.
"You've been gone for so long," Djo added.
The twins no longer looked like abused slaves, nor malnourished. Dja was wearing a beautiful yellow silk dress, and Djo was wearing a simple white tunic and pants.
"You guys have grown so much, I've heard of your accomplishments and I'm so proud," Tria said hugging them.
Their reunion was just like the old days, lots of laughter, and food except this time there were a lot more stories to tell. After Seti had joined them, everyone was just bragging of their achievements, and how people wanted them to leave the manor and join their groups.
"I kicked all of them out!" said Ka'an laughing.
"Hahaha, she would be waiting every day for new people to show just so she could beat them up, so naughty big sister, she has been quite an embarrassment," Djo added proudly while shaking her head.
"Hahaha!" Tria would not stop laughing.
"Even that Ashir guy sent people, offering us riches, and when he didn't get what he wanted he sent assassins when the assassins he sent were killed, he tried to dig into our backgrounds!" said Khen.
"Hahaha, the shock he got when figured that we were all loyal to the third prince's manor, but I say that guy is cooking some really evil plan," Seti said.
The room became quiet, but not for long.
"Whatever he's planning, he'll be dealt with in time, I just came back, let's catch up some more," Tria said.
Agreeing with her, the group continued the laughter and clatter until late, and it was already time for Crei and Tria's rendez-vouz.
