Chereads / Priestess Of The Land / Chapter 105 - Black Caiman

Chapter 105 - Black Caiman

"Here we go," Tria said looking ahead at Centria, she was finally going to settle this with the Eye clan that has been haunting her down and killing innocent for no reason, she was ready to give them a taste of their own medicine.

"I will go alone with Chukah, you have our backs right?" Tria asked Crei.

"Of course, and don't worry not one of them will make it near the shoreline," he said smiling, then kissed Tria's forehead before whispering in her ear, "be careful."

"Hm," Tria answered blushing.

Crei disappeared leaving Tria and Chukah alone.

"You can change now, we will start out with a strong blow," Tria said to Chukah, who had instantly turned into half a jackal.

They waited for a while, and from the horizon came the whistle of a mermaid, it was Princess Esmak.

"Priestess, everything is ready, we shall take you both to Salihafa," she said emotionally, Salihafa was the name of the turtle harboring the Eye clan. The mermaid has been using their own lifeforce to keep the turtle alive, and the Eye clan has been depleting that same lifeforce to make their little minions. The merpeople had no choice, Salihafa was important to them, giving up on her would mean giving up on themselves.

Tria was assisted by Esmak, and Chukah by a merman and they swam across the ocean swiftly, without alerting the Eye Clan people, although they were really too busy at the moment to care about who's crossing over.

Tria arrived to the turtle, and when she used her powers to connect with Salihafa, it shocked her to find out how little lifeforce was left, and it amazed her how the merpeople have resiliently pushed through to keep her going.

Their effort was not in vain, with her there, Salihafa will be as good as new. She channeled her energy into Salihafa's body continuously. If it was before, it would have been a difficult feat to heal such a large animal, but as a celestial, it only took a few breaths of time to achieve.

The changes in Salihafa were growing improvingly, originally Salihafa was a blue sea turtle who lit up the ocean and be one with the sky, but grown to be a dark wrinkly and dry earthy turtle on the brink of dying. Now that she was healed she was going back to her former self, and understanding the changes that were happening to her, a tear could be seen dropping from her eyes, over near where Tria was.

Tria looked up at her and smiled, "you're welcome," she said.

These changes were also noticed by the Eye clan and when it was reported to Madame Marga, it was too late for them to do anything.

"Quickly, quickly kill that thing, she's probably going to use it against us," yelled out Madame Marga.

Ro tried his fastest speed to follow that order, but following that was the sound of extremely loud thunder in the sky, and shaking.

Yes, shaking, Salihafa who was now a healed turtle no longer needed to fear those bastards riding his sacred back. Slow on land but fast in the water, she jumped in and out of the water as she proudly shook off the Eye clan off her back.

Hiss! Hiss! Hiss!

The Eye Clan people jumped off her back in hope of rescuing themselves, but if only it was that easy, awaiting them were the merpeople.

Shell weapons, spikes, arrows with urchins spikes at their tips, were pointing towards anyone who might have fallen, it was a complete slaughter.

If anyone taught it smart to get through the merpeople to swim towards the mainland, lightning struck them down. He couldn't be seen by anyone since he was on a high cliff far away watching, but Crei wasn't just sitting still either, using the weather as his weapon, he made sure to have his wifey's back. The bad weather was only inside the formation he had using his shadows as the barrier, the mainland was left intact.

Back on Salihafa's Madame Marga was clutching on to a wall while making some hand gestures, attempting to call upon their 'god'.

Ro who was supposed to have gone kill Salihafa, realized it was too late and took a detour to save his little sister. Half of the inhabitant of Centria was gone, and the remaining group was getting less by each shake.

'Please be alright! Please be alright! Brother's coming,' thought Ro, while running, his body gradually changed with large thick and rugged scales growing on his skin, and a large tail falling out of his bottom. He transformed into a six meters long crocodile and ran to where he though Buni might be.
