Chereads / Priestess Of The Land / Chapter 101 - Eager to find him

Chapter 101 - Eager to find him

Tria's disguise was very convincing, except for getting a few looks from the guards searching everyone, her group had no problem getting through in her way to their inn.

The people were still kneeling on the bare ground thanking the Priestess for her protection. Even the dead trees had benefited from the light and new leaves we're sprouting from the branches.

'After taking care of the Eye, the people living here shouldn't be in much danger. With their most threatening enemy out of the way, they should be able to take care of the local bandits on their own.'

Tria was thinking if she should stay a little longer after just to make sure no one causes trouble because an opportunity to replace the Eye and becoming the new head honcho will definitely occur.

However, she had something that she needed to take care as well after this, taking a quick glance at Crei. She hasn't been forcing him to tell her about his identity but when it comes to her dignity as a woman, she won't stand being clueless about him and his background. It was time to sit down and have a grown people talk, but then again, she has to wait until they returned to the Sun Land. Home affairs should be taken care of at home.

Chukah had opened up the door to the inn, and Hepri was in the other side waiting for them, grinning from ear to ear.

"I thought you guys had forgotten about me..."

Tria, Crei, and Chukah walked in right past him, ignoring his existence.

"Nani!?"

"Is everyone still upset at me? I thou-

"What did you just say?"asked Tria who had circled back when she heard Hepri's words.

Hepri was suprised but happy, he answered, "I asked if everyone was sti-

"Not that, what you said before?"

"Hmm, I don't remember, what did I say?"

'Huh?! Are my experiences shared with them without them knowing? We are kind of one entity since we're all connected...'

"Nothing. Where's the girl?" Tria asked him, changing the subject.

"Oh, about that, it's going to be pretty hard to communicate with her, I think she's either mute or deaf," Hepri said seriously.

"...lead me to her."

Hepri went up the stairs, leading the way for them.

"She is right in here," he said.

"I'll go in alone."

Tria did not wait for an answer and walked right in, closing the door behind her.

Inside seated on the bed was the girl she had bought, all cleaned up, obediently staying still.

"You had mentally asked me to buy you but don't act like you're all innocent, was that your best way of getting into our group?" asked Tria bluntly.

"Hahaha, you saw right through me boy," answered the girl, who had transformed into a grown woman who was even more beautiful than previous, as well as more seductive.

"You acted quite fast, I didn't think you'd have reached this realm so quick. Are you that eager to find your dear fiance?"
