Traveling over the sand dunes, Hepri led them toward the temple he was a keeper of and closed the doors behind him.
"I have not closed these doors in a while, with the storm coming, we should be safe in here," Hepri smiled with his hands together in front of his face.
'He is a lot more spirited than Chukah,' Tria thought as she looked at her new guardian but her sight shifted to inside the temple that had multiple drawings on the walls, and that although it was a shaped like a triangle exteriorly, inside seemed almost spherical. It even resembled her golden temple a bit, with the multiple rooms, and the altar at the center.
"All the rooms are empty?" asked Tria looking at the open doors facing each other down the hall.
"Yes, unfortunately. If there was anything, they had all been taken by the Eye. At those times, I was not awakened yet, and they would come every other day and have even broken down that wall over there," he pointed at a pile of bricks," their harassment trips had finally stopped when I awakened my powers and chewed out a few of their kinds..." Hepri said, proud of his deeds.
"When you awakened, they did not associate you with me?...Unless they do not know where your power comes from?"
"Exactly, they think my powers were granted by a God like them, that is why they had stopped messing with me and also stopped coming around. Well, there was nothing else for them to come and take either," Hepri answered.
"That is interesting, tell me more about the Eye, I plan on going to Centria and pay them a surprise visit," Tria told him.
Hepri looked at her, then rubbed his neck as he sighed.
"That might be a bit difficult, I have never been outside the Unknown Land, and my family has only been in these parts since they were the ones protecting this temple. From what I have heard, the outside Lands are quite simple without any unexpected events happening, however here in the Unknown Lands, things are quite different."
Tria noticed that he was about to tell her a lot more about this land, so she scooped up her stool closer to Hepri.
Chukah had long lit a candle, and only the sound of the fire crackling every few seconds could be heard at this time.
"Centria is where the Eye rules, it was not always called Centria, however after the exploration of the Unknown Land started and people had run away from their homes, when the Eye took over, they named it so. Centria is at the center of the Land, and surrounding it, are many sub lands with barriers around them as well, and it could be very dangerous to travel through them. Some of them, space and time inside can be very unpredictable, as parts of your body can unexpectedly get cut off through a rip of space-time to another dimension...." he said, and in hope of not scaring Tria, he continued," however, if you want to go to Centria, we can always go around those to be safe."
As they were speaking of safety, the temple started rumbling and shaking because of the storm outside.
"Huh? Is that how it always is here?" asked Tria.
"That actually never happens," Hepri answered concerned.
Crei walked towards a window and tried to see outside.
"It's a sandstorm...caused by a battle, it would seem that extremely strong people are fighting ahead."
"There shouldn't be anyone strong enough to cause sandstorms of this size around here though," Hepri said," no matter, it would seem that we'll have to keep moving, priestess, first I have to lead you to somewhere my family have always found sacred and protected with their lives," Hepri seriously stated, and led them all toward underground after he had activated some kind of mechanism that opened a hole in the ground, revealing stairs.
