Chereads / Priestess Of The Land / Chapter 63 - Carried Away

Chapter 63 - Carried Away

"Wifey, wake up," Crei's voice sounded out softly.

"Hm...just five minutes more," Tria mumbled, still holding on to Crei.

"You said the same thing five minutes ago," said Crei as he smiled looking at Tria sleeping soundlessly.

"…" Tria had gone back to sleep.

Crei was left with no choice but to carry her as she was still wrapped up in a blanket into the carriage.

It was already time for them to leave, and as they had already said their goodbyes, there was no need to say it again, therefore Crei did not wake up Tria, nor did he tell the others.

Tria did not wake up until over two hours later, and when she did, the first thing she saw was Crei's handsome face. He was looking out the window of the carriage and felt Tria moving.

"You're finally up," he said.

"Hmm, why does it feel like we're moving?" she asked as she tried to sit up.

"We left the castle since two hours ago kitten," said Crei pulling her back towards him," You can go back to sleep if you want, we are getting close to the next town, I can wake you up in a bit."

'Kitten?' Tria questioned herself.

Crei smiled at her confused look.

"Wait! Did you say we left the castle two hours ago?"

"Hmm."

"Why did you only just now wake me up, you had basically kidnapped me."

"Haha, there is nothing wrong with that. Besides I did wake you up, but you kept on asking for five minutes extra, I had no choice but to take you away in your sleep."

"Ah, ha-ha," she laughed nervously and felt guilty from accusing him of kidnapping. It was true that there was nothing wrong with it, after all, she was his wife.

"Hmm…"

"So where are we going?" she asked to change the subject.

"Honey Moon."

"Honeymoon?" Tria's eyes almost popped out as she asked loudly.

"Hm, it's not too far and it's great for people who want to be away for a while," he answered, he was unsure about why Tria was so surprised.

"Oh, it's a place called Honey Moon."

"Yes, what did you think it was?"

"Oh…nothing," Tria said subtly as she thought, 'I guess 'honeymoon' is not a thing here.'

"I know I took you away early this morning, so we are stopping at the next town so you can wash up, is that alright?"

"My husband is so thoughtful, of course, that's alright," she said as she stroked his chin.

Not long after, they had arrived at a small town and checked into an inn. While Tria had left to get ready, Crei had gone to the restaurant to wait for her, so they could have food together. Crei had not changed his appearance, therefore, his handsome features were getting the looks from many people, especially the women. However, he was unbothered and continued to order his dishes from the waiter.

"That'd be all, however, hold on to them for a while, I want to make sure the food is still warm for my wife."

"Yes, sir, then may I offer you tea while you wait."

"Go ahead."

"I will get right on it."

The waiter left and was about to tell the chef about the customers' dishes, but he was pulled into a corner by two women.

"Say, boy, who is that handsome?" asked one of the women.

Crei was oblivious to what was occurring around him, he was patiently waiting for Tria and his tea to arrive.

"I-I don't know, he just checked in," stammered the waiter.

"So useless, sister Chi I think we should just go introduce ourselves to him, besides we're also from the Sun Land, I'm sure he'll be nice to his fellow people," said the other woman.

The woman, Chi, had led let go of the waiter since he did not even get the name of the man she was interested in.

"Let's observe him for a while, then we'll go talk to him," she said.

"Alright, this time we have to get him to go home with us, the last one was so weak," said the other woman.

"Zhi behave, as if it wasn't your fault that he had killed himself, this time, I am taking the lead."

"I already said I was sorry for that, whatever, this one is all yours."

Zhi pouted and sat back into her seat, both her and Chi were observing the handsome man and waiting for a good opportunity to approach him.
