Chapter 61 - Taking A Break (Part 2)

"Hmmm, I'll go with you," answered Tria. She will definitely enjoy her time with Crei, however before she leaves to wherever they are going, she had to take care of a few things.

As she was thinking, Crei had pulled her back into his embrace, with his hands caressing the back of her head gently.

"When should we leave?" he asked.

"Hmm, how about tomorrow? I have to talk to uncle and the others," she answered as she laid on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.

"Alright then, I'm going to go prepare a few things then-

"No, don't go. Just let me stay here for a bit longer," she murmured as she wrapped her hands around Crei's waist tighter.

Crei smiled and felt warm energies rushing up his face. He looked down at Tria who had already fallen asleep on his chest. As his eyes lingered over her, his mind wandered to when he had first seen her, how she was being abused by her own family and he had decided to marry her so she could get out of that damn house. Never would he have thought that she would become his everything, and even putting many things in his own life on pause for her.

Although his feelings for her had developed quite fast, he was glad he was not indecisive and did not hide his feelings for her, because she was worth it. Now he had to think of a great place to go so they could have bonding time and to hopefully become more intimate with each other.

Tria had eventually woken up not long after, and she was stupefied at herself for falling asleep on Crei.

" I cannot believe I fell asleep on you," she said, but she was still laying on his chest comfortably.

"Hm, wifey, it's okay. Husband is happy to become your pillow, anytime," he said.

"Good, remember to report for duty every night from now on," she playfully said, but a certain person heard a different meaning.

"Every night? Wifey, are you sure?" he asked her with a sly look.

Tria saw where he was going with the conversation and suddenly stood up.

"Naughty! I have to go talk to uncle now," she said and ran outside, and left Crei inside the room on his own.

He laid there smiling to himself, 'wifey was so cute', he thought.

Tria was also smiling as she headed towards the castle. She had thought about her and Crei getting closer intimately, however, things were so different in this world that she had changed from being open about some things to being extremely abashed when facing Crei.

It wasn't that she minded going along with him but Crei had that look that made her heart beat three times faster than usual, and if she was not lying on his chest, her knees would have gone weak.

'I wonder if traveling alone with only him and I is a good idea,' she thought. However, she had to put those thoughts away as she has made it to where her uncle was. Along with him, were the three protectors seated in the open hall, where the illuminated pillars stood.

"Uncle," she greeted, then nodded her head in greeting to the protectors.

"Tria, you've come. Go ahead and sit, let me introduce you to my protectors" Lord Aten said pointing towards a seat, then continued," These are three protectors of the Moon land, and they have been here for centuries. This is Mata, Ono, and the little mischief is Jeep."

"Priestess," Mata and Ono greeted.

"Big sister," greeted Jeep, as he got glared at by Ono.

"Please, call me Tria," she answered smiling at the trio. If her uncle trusted them then so did she, besides they had also helped to protect her back then.

"Uncle," she continued, " Crei and I will be leaving tomorrow."

"So soon?" Lord Aten was taken by surprise.

"Yes, I need to take a break and get my thoughts together, so I will be gone, only for a while."

"Is it because of that man you have brought?"

"No, it's not because of him. I will leave him here with you, I think you two should get acquainted…actually all of you, should get acquainted, since he is the man who has created the Moon Land," she said slowly.

"What are you saying, hahaha, the Gods who have created this land have all already ascended," Lord Aten laughed.

"It is him, the God of the Moon, God Hoth, he had created this Land, besides why don't I let him tell you all…" Tria tuned her head towards the sky and said," why don't you come down and introduce yourself."

"…" Lord Aten and the protectors looked where her gaze directed, and they became shocked.

Large white wings flapped against the night sky and attached was a topless figure with long silvered hair, looking down at the earth with overbearing majestic aura.

"I did not think you would have noticed my presence, priestess. I also did not know you could cultivate, so I should apologize for following you," sounded out his voice in the sky, vibrating along with the moon energy particles, making it look as if snow was falling in slow motion.

"It is no problem, God Hoth. Please come down, and sit down. The current Lord of the Moon Land is my uncle, and as you probably have heard, I will be leaving tomorrow, and wish for you to stay here," Tria said to him.

"The current Lord?" Hoth said as he came down, looking over everyone who was there and his eyes fell upon Lord Aten.

"Your Highness," Lord Aten greeted and bowed with his hand behind his back, so did the three protectors.

Tria did not greet him, and simply sat there waiting for them to finish their formalities, but her expression changed when God Hoth spoke again.

"Aten Blanc?" God Hoth asked.

Lord Aten was surprised to hear the God of Moon utter his name, and he blankly stared at him, forgetting to answer.

"Yes, my uncle's name is Aten Blanc, do you remember him from one hundred years ago?" said Tria, which had also brought back Lord Aten out of his stupor.

"No I do not know him exactly, but a lady who had helped the priestess from back then did say that her brother was the Lord of the Moon and I simply noticed the similarities in their appearance."

"Ah, that must have been my mother," Tria answered.

"Is that so, I would love to thank her now, since I never got the chance, may I?" God Hoth asked Tria.

Tria sighed and looked at him with a saddened expression, "mother died about eighteen years ago."

"My apologies."

"It's alright. I will be leaving tomorrow, you have not told me, will you be staying with my uncle?" asked Tria to Hoth again.

Hoth though about their conversation from earlier and sensed that he might have come too strong about his request and understood her need for a break.

"…Yes, I will be waiting here with your uncle," he said, he did not say more as to not pressure her.

"Hmm..then I will leave you four to get acquainted, there are a few things that I need to prepare before I go."

Tria left the hall leaving God Hoth and her uncle, along with the protectors to talk with each other.

Although they were centuries old, and God Hoth has been in this realm since then too, he had never made his presence known, so meeting their God must thrilling.
