Vincent called upon the people that will help him in the saving of the world, just in case beings with extraordinary powers appear.
Those people have been training most of their lives and garnered experiences and knowledge in order to be used when the time for battle may come. With their blood, efforts, and sweat, they made themselves strong as years pass by while having the thought of protecting this world from evil beings that will bring destruction upon the world.
With years of training, they have reached a power to the level that is rarely reached by a normal person. That said, they're very confident in their abilities, confident that they can stand against a being that may bring destruction. Also, they think if they fight together, they can fight against a powerful being and might even able to defeat it.
Twelve people were present in a large room within Vincent's mansion. This room is usually used when there are important meetings with his order.
Three couches were placed inside this said room and each has four people sitting on them. The people that were called to gather consists of ten males and two females.
Then a man with golden hair entered the room.
"Greetings everyone. Thank you for coming here as fast as you could."
Vincent looked at them one by one and a middle-aged man with black hair and brown eyes spoke to him.
"So, why does it have to be so urgent? It must be important."
The man who spoke is John Resas, he is one of the people who are a member of the order for a very long time. In addition, he is a friend of Frederick, that is why he has come to know about the existence of the order and later on joined it.
It could be said that half his life has been with the order and half his life he has been making himself stronger, that said, with all the years of training he has become one of the people most difficult to beat within the order.
"Yes, it is John. And this isn't something normal, this could mean the safety of the world."
The people within the room has a bit of surprised expression on their faces. Then next a woman with purple hair and purple eyes spoke out.
"Then you're saying, this might be the time. The time we are going to fight against an evil creature. After all, from what I've heard, the cycle is coming to an end."
The woman who spoke is Zoey Autrech, 28 years old. She has been a member of the New Dawn order for six years. In a young age, she discovered that her father is a member of the order, then she learned that every century there are creatures appears to bring destruction to the world.
In time, she had decided to join the order herself and swore to make herself strong until to the point she can stand against a powerful being and eventually protect the world from such creatures.
"Indeed, Zoey, the cycle is coming to an end. And because of that, I suspect this might be a sign of the monsters that might ravage the land."
"So, what is the situation?" John asked.
"Days ago. A town in Russia, right to its southern territorial border, was given a warning. A warning that the town will be attacked, and the warning included the declaration of their death. And what caught my attention is, it was sent in a strange way."
"Town? What's the town called?"
The one who asked is a woman with brown hair and dark brown eyes.
"Oh, that's right. You're from that country, so perhaps you're familiar with it. The town is called Yusorga."
"Yusorga… hmm, yeah I'm familiar with it. As I remember, that place has walls all around for protection and other reasons."
This woman is named Maya Resonov, 29 years old. She has been a member of the order for seven years. In the past, her father – a retired military general – sometimes told her stories about creatures who brought devastation unto this world in the past, and there was a group of people which are fighting these said creatures.
Then eventually her father told her that he is a member of the order that was supposed to be in the stories. After learning about the circumstances, Maya decided to join the New Dawn order, at first her father was against it, but later on, let her join in.
"That is correct. I've researched about that place, and I learned because of territorial feuds, the town was reinforced because it's an ideal place to defend for it is at the edge of the border."
"I think father mentioned that fact to me in the past. Also, I think one of my Father's friends were stationed there as a commander. I think his name is Jonas. Either way, how strange of a way is the warning sent to catch your attention?"
"Well, for short. The warning was sent in an inhumanly way. Unusual creatures flew above them and stated their warning."
"So, that could give the meaning that this is not a work of a human, or rather a normal being in that matter. How strange was it? I'm curious, it would be good for us to know what way it is, that would give us an idea of what we could be facing."
What John said do make sense, if one could describe the way the warning is sent, they could have an idea on what the opposition's power could be and perhaps can prepare themselves once they do face that opposition.
"Very well. First, from what I've learned, pitch black clouds just suddenly appeared in the middle of a sunny day. Next, I'll describe it in short, numerous horrifying ghosts like creatures descended from above and flew around the town and gave their warning."
The people in the room thought about what Vincent said and tried to imagine how the scenery would look like and contemplated what could be the extent of the opposition's power.
"Is it some kind of summoning magic?"
One of the people in the room asked and Vincent answered.
"It would seem it is."
"Then they, the opposition has the ability to summon creatures in such a scale. If that is the case, I doubt that those are all they can summon." Zoey said.
"Now, for the time is short. I want you all to prepare immediately, we are all setting out. We only have less than a day and a half left until they attack." Vincent said.
"What?! A day and a half? France to Yusorga is very far from each other. Can we even get there in time?" Maya said.
"That is why we must hurry. If we land to Mongolia, it would be very difficult to get through to the territory of Russia, especially at the present circumstances, in addition to that, when we travel from Mongolia, it would be difficult to reach Yusorga especially when the place around it are mountains and barely have any roads.
"So should we use a helicopter then?" One of the people in the room asked.
"No, our order's existence is a secret. Using a chopper would be too high profile."
Indeed, flying a chopper towards a becoming warzone would render the chopper suspicious. They would be asked to fly away, and if they insist on going in, there might be a chance they might get shot down.
If they do manage to land safely, they would be asked with many questions. And that would be too risky and the order might get exposed, it would be difficult to bluff. Also, it might invite unwanted suspicions upon them.
Vincent continued.
"We'll land to the city nearest to Yusorga. It's quite a distance, but I hope we can get there in time."
"Are you going to bring the artifact with us?" John asked.
Vincent looked at everyone and it seems they were also wondering about that.
"No. Bringing that important artifact with us is risky and unwise. We are unsure if those really are caused by beings that come every century. If it is all just a fight between countries, then the artifact might get exposed and might risk it as well as our order and many other negative possible scenarios. If it is indeed a destroying creature, I'm confident we can at least stand against it and get a chance to escape."
Everyone understood what Vincent is trying to say. Then, looking like everyone has no further questions, Vincent said.
"I see no one else has questions. Now then, everyone, go and prepare, we'll set out as soon as possible. Go and let your family know where you're going, we'll meet at the airport. After all, we all live in France, so I trust we can set out fast."
Everyone responded in affirmative.
