Fu Sichen was still completely unaware of Pei Zhen's situation. This allowed Pei Zhen some room to breathe.

From far away, Pei Zhen could hear crying and wailing coming from his room. It sounded rather depressing.
At the very least, he had a conscience. Pei Zhen couldn't help but feel comforted that he was being missed. He decided that once he recovered, he'd give Xiao Nian a raise. To tell the truth, it really hadn't been easy on him being his manager all these years.
