Old Mr. Wen stepped back, and Wen Xinya took the podium.
Suddenly, a commotion could be heard from outside, followed by a din. Startled, Old Mr. Wen made his way to the side of the stage and asked in a low voice, "What's happening outside?"
The public relations manager promptly answered, "A couple claiming to be Miss Wen's foster parents started causing a scene outside after having been denied entry. I've no idea who let them in—my guess is that they've been placed in the manor from the start."
He had understood the situation from the walkie-talkie and was just about to report to Old Mr. Wen.
Old Mr. Wen turned serious. With intimidating eyes, he said in an austere manner, "Throw them out. I don't wish to meet them under these circumstances. I'll answer for any consequences."
The public relations manager replied respectfully, "No worries, Sir. I'll handle this."
Following which, the public relations manager left the hall discreetly.
