When the two returned home and informed her that they were safe, she finally felt at ease.
The man came over and hugged her from behind. She was startled, and he curiously asked,"what's wrong with you?"
She shook her head."Nothing."
He felt that she was hiding something from him."What's wrong with you? Is there something you're hiding from me?"
They were husband and wife, after all, so he could tell with one look that she was hiding something from him. She pondered for a moment and decided to tell him."Mom brought the kids to an amusement park overseas and got into a conflict with someone. She was hospitalized, but my dad is taking care of her now."
Only then did he let out a sigh of relief."That's good, then."
She nodded."Yes. Trust my father; he won't let anything happen to your mother."
Hearing her still call him 'mom', the resident must feel bad because he was not a good middleman.
"I've let you suffer. " He pulled her into his arms.
