There was a hint of viciousness in Pei Ge's eyes. Her gaze looked as though she wanted to punish Old lady Qu right now and leave no room for gentleness.
"Don't come any closer. I didn't kill you. It was not me."
Old lady Qu averted her gaze and did not dare to look at Pei Ge. She hid in a corner and her body trembled even more when she saw Pei Ge's shadow approaching her.
"I didn't kill you. Don't come any closer. Please, don't come any closer."
Old lady Qu sounded pitiful. It was as though the closer Pei Ge walked to her, the more she could see the person she did not want to see on Pei Ge.
"Are you afraid? Is the insufferably arrogant Old lady Qu afraid? What a pity. If those outsiders knew about your expression now, they would laugh at you. Old lady Qu actually has moments of fear."
Pei Ge's voice was cold and she stared at Old lady Qu with coldness in her eyes.
