In the wee hours of the morning, when Pei Ge woke up, she saw her kids resting in her arms.
She lowered her head and kissed them gently on their heads.
"Good morning, mommy's precious children." She muttered before getting out of bed quietly. She left the room after tucking the two under the blankets.
"Good morning, ma'am; why are you up so early?"
She saw Alice when she stepped out of her room.
"How many times have I told you not to call me that? Just call me Ge Ge…" she chided softly, looking at Alice with a smile.
"Ma'am."
Stubborn, the girl refused to change her form of address to her.
"Fine, fine. Do as you will."
She tidied her hair then headed to the kitchen.
"Ma'am, I've already made breakfast."
"It's fine; I want to cook the kids their favorites."
With that, she got busy in the kitchen.
