"Sis Pei Ge, Sis Pei Ge, what are you thinking about? You're spacing out."
She only returned her senses after the driver called her several times.
Only then did she realize that, unbeknown to her, the car had arrived before the company's entrance.
"Ah, we're here already," she mumbled, still a little out of it.
"Yes, Sis Pei Ge. I've been calling you multiple times." The young man looked at her with a teasing smile. "What were you thinking so deeply about? I think you've been lost in thought all the way here."
"It's nothing," She smiled but said nothing. Bidding the driver goodbye, she stepped out of the car.
"I'll get going now. Bye."
"Okay. I'll come pick you up when you get off work later."
She felt burning gazes on her the moment she got out of his car.
The burning gazes, on top of her gloomy mood, frustrated her.
It's all that annoying fellow's fault!
