"No, I haven't been well all these years."
She froze at his reply.
She stared blankly at him first before her face showed concern.
The man burst out laughing when he caught a glimpse of her expression in the rearview mirror.
Her logic kickstarted when she heard his laughter.
"You're just messing with me, huh!" she exclaimed, her eyes widening in exasperation upon noting his amusement.
"Yup," admitted the man softly.
"You really got me worried there! I was even wondering what had happened to you!" She rolled her eyes after she saw him nod.
People say stuff like 'okay', 'not bad', or 'not too great' when asked that question, while you say something worrisome, instead!
Still, this guy saying something like that really got her worried.
Seeing her reaction, he laughed anew and mumbled, "It's nice…"
