She stared at her phone with dumbfounded eyes.
Never had she thought that the man would call her while on that business trip abroad. It was thrice to boot!
Also, she unluckily did not pick up even one of his three calls.
"That… Why did you call me?"
Unable to get her thoughts together, she posed this silly question to him.
He was this close to dying from anger at her question.

He just wanted to hear her voice, so he called her at that time.

She had an epiphany upon seeing his anger-filled eyes. "Ah! I know, you probably called to tell me of what to do in case your mom comes by!"
