"You seem to have forgotten why I made a contract with you." He peered at her unhappily.
"Ugh… I didn't. Isn't it just to be your shield?" she inquired back, blinking in confusion.
"Hur. You do remember that you're a shield." He mirthlessly laughed at her.
"… Ugh!" She realized with a start that she had made a mistake.
She indeed had to meet this man's mother!
As his shield, what was her purpose? It was, of course, to let his parents know that he was in a committed relationship, so he did not need to go on blind dates anymore.
