"Don't be mad."
He took her still damp hands in his and rubbed them gently.
When she felt the gentle but cool sensation on her hands, she cooled down a little, but she was still a little miffed.
"You're so mean." She glared at him gloomily. She was starting to realize that this man was getting glibber.
He used to be such a high and mighty man! Now…
She realized that he was getting better at talking. Not only were his sweet nothings a little too much for her to take, he could lie to her without batting an eyelid as well! Moreover, he could have her buying into anything he said.
"I was just teasing you earlier; don't be mad." He dipped his head and smiled despite her glaring at him.
"I wonder, though. Are you mad at because of me teasing you or me not wanting—"
She interrupted him before he could finish.
"You annoying fellow, wh-what are you talking about?! Who's angry because you don't want to sleep with me?"
