Pei Ge whiled away the rest of the afternoon lazily lying on that soft grass patch.
She watched the sky outside the window slowly turned dark as the sun set in the west. This was when she sat up and picked up the book beside her.
"Huuu!" Stretching lazily, she observed the small stream flow gently. Her mood improved considerably at the sight.
"Time to head home." She giggled to herself as she made her way to the living room.
Packing her things, she did not call her chauffeur or the man and just decided to leave the villa by herself.
Once she was done locking the main door to villa, she leisurely strolled out of the place while admiring the lush greenery along the way.
Although she had to walk quite a distance from the villa to the main gate on foot, she did not feel that it was tiring at all. This was because she had literally done nothing the whole day.
However, when she arrived at the taxi stand, she did not find any passing cabs.
