Chapter 4 - The Choco Swiss Roll

"Ah, found it." Elise said softly as she was looking through the menu. Turning around, Zwei only saw a big black thing materialise in the air and drop onto the girl's hand. It was long, thick and round with strange light brown swirly patterns on the ends. She had never seen anything like it before, was it some sort of magic equipment from where she came from?

Then, to Zwei's shock and confusion, she bit into it.

"Mmmmmm, I missed this waiting for that blasted loading bar."

Seeing huge imaginary question marks float above Zwei's head, Elise giggled a little and broke off a third of it and handed it to her.

"Here, a [Choco Swiss Roll], cost 1 DP."

Zwei looked at the brown coloured 'Choco Swiss Roll' in her hands with bewilderment. She really couldn't understand what this item is. Poking it, the texture was really soft, what was it made of?

Finally, after building up enough courage, she bit into the unknown substance. A strong sweetness assaulted her senses as several unknown tastes sent her tastebuds into overload. The texture itself was as if it was melting in her mouth. It was simply divine, the best thing she had ever tasted.

When she looked up, she had finished the entire piece and saw Elise looking at her with amusement.

"It was good, right?"

Seeing her cheeky smile, Zwei blushed. She had seriously lost her composure, what was that? It's not like she hadn't eaten in three years. She doesn't physically need to eat anyway, she's a magically generated support program!!!

Elise looked at this professional existence show her first signs of emotions. Her face burned up with embarrassment as she efficiently wiped off the cake crumbs. This is the first time she noticed how normal this woman is and she couldn't help but laugh.

Her giggling only agitated her more, making her face blush even more.

"Cough cough, moving on. So, what are our first actions to building this new dungeon?"

Suddenly remembering the dire situation, Elise started to think. What kind of dungeon would they build, what kind of theme? A fire dungeon? Well, they don't have any fire here. A foresty type?

While she kept thinking of possibilities of her future, she suddenly heart Zwei yell in surprise.

"Ehh!?!"

"Hmm? What's wrong?"

Looking over with a strange expression, Zwei hurriedly apologised. "Ah, sorry for disrupting you, it's just, I found the [Choco Swiss Roll] in my menu shop."

Hearing this, Elise suddenly thought of something. "You have system shop as well?"

"Hmm? Ah, yes. Any of your subordinates that you grant permission to can access the system shop. You can limit their buying rights though."

Elise nodded and continued. "Ok, buy a swiss roll."

"Eh? Are you sure? We don't have much DP after all."

"It's ok, just buy it."

Confirming the action, a dark brown roll materialised once more. Zwei's roll, however, had clear differences to Elise's. Firstly, there was no plastic wrapping. Secondly, it was only a third of the size of Elise's, the size she got from Elise.

As if understanding something, Elise bought her a bun. "This is called a [Choco Bun], now eat it an buy one."

Zwei took the bun and bit into it, the excitement in her eyes betrayed her calm expression. Sweet red been paste oozed out of the soft bread shell into her mouth. This was delicious as well. Could it be that Elise lived in a gourmet world?

Finishing the bun in a flash, she looked at the menu and bought a Choco bun. To her surprise, Elise laughed hysterically.

"Haha, sorry Zwei, that was a [Red Bean Bun], this is a [Choco Bun]." She apologised while laughing, handing her another bun.

"Eh" Zwei looked at bun that looked identical to the red bean one. Hesitantly, she bit into it and the inside was green. Delicious nonetheless. Then Elise told her to buy another [Choco Bun] and this time, she bought an actual Choco bun.

"What was that for, you just wasted 6 DP, you know." Zwei said with the same neutral voice, only a little indignant.

"Sorry. I just wanted to confirm something." Elise apologised half-heartedly, continuing excitedly, "Zwei, why don't we build a food empire? We can sell people buns and other foods!"

"Certainly, however, how are we going to get DP from a food empire? Different currency can be bought with DP but it can't be exchanged for DP."

We can definitely rely on Zwei to ruin children's dreams with reality checks. Elise's wide smile crumpled for a moment; however, she recovered almost instantly.

"Then let's make a trade centre and resort. We'll build hotels, shops, restaurants, all sorts of facilities. We'll sell food and items and encourage people to play in our dungeon. We buy materials, not from our dungeon of course, and we'll get money for people staying in our dungeon." She rattled on like a machine gun, drowning Zwei in her ideas. Her speech became faster and faster as she became more agitated by the ideas she was producing.

Zwei could only sigh and shake her head at her troublesome host, she was loaded with data and tutorials to create a traditional dungeon, lure, trap, kill. She had no idea how to deal with this troublesome master of hers. She no idea what her host was talking about, however, she couldn't help but smile. What a strange world had she come from.

She didn't know why she liked the idea as well, it deviated so far from the traditional growth of a dungeon, however, it seemed so probably and interesting. Soon, she found herself immersed in the planning with Elise, talking about their dream futures.

The bedroom was silent and still. Soon enough, a young man opened the door, stepping in from what seemed like endless space. He sat down in front of the PC with a slight frown and turned it on.

The screen soon showed a girl and a women dressed in what modern day people would call costumes. He listened to them laugh and talk about their obscure ideas, his frown melting into a smile.

He knew he had chosen a champion crazy enough as he was sure she would follow her ideas. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself as he imagined the other's faces when he presented his champion.
