Fang stood looking at himself as he fixed his hair, waiting for Zero. Zero entered the room as he looked over Fang as he could tell he was happy to be able to move on his own once more.
"Fang, Dymo got us some horses and is packing them now. Are you ready to leave?" Zero asked calmly.
Fang turned to Zero as he finished with his hair. "Yes, I am. Shall we get going then?"
Zero nodded as they left the room and headed outside to meet with Dymo, who was waiting for them. He held the reins of the two horses as he waited for them. "There you be. Now before you head off, it might be wise to talk to someone you know in the Evermore kingdom for directions. As even I don't know where Fevermore is."
Fang grabbed a set of reins from Dymo as he walked to the back of the horse. "We will. We know people in the royal family there and a guard."
Dymo walked up to Fang and stared at him, "Be careful. You may trust the elves, but I do not. Besides, not knowing the future worries me."
Fang glanced as Zero as he got up in the saddle, "Tue, but you trust Zero, and he is an only half-elf. Despite looking more animilian. The only difference is when you look at his sister, she has the elven ear and the animilian tail, while he has the animilian ears and no tail." Fang explained to Dymo.
"Plus, his hair is a dead giveaway. DO you know the type of elf he is? Hopefully, not Evermer?" Dymo protested.
"Zyph."
Dymo turned to him in shock, "Wait, the Gold Heart elves? I thought they have blue or green hair."
Fang smiled as he turned the horse. "Yes, red is just a scarce colour for them. His sister has pastel blue." He looked back to Zero, who nodded that he was ready. "Well, we better be off if we wish to make it the capital by the twentieth hour." Dymo nodded as he let them go. Watching them race into the Evermore forest.
Zero glanced around to see if any patrols were around as they grew closer to the capital. Fang reared his horse as Zero turned to him. Pulling the reins tight, stopping his horse right beside him. "What is up, Fang?"
Fang nudged his head towards in front of him. Zero glanced over to see a beastmen talking with an elf. Zero stared in disbelief as Fang moved forward. Taking it slow as something was going on.
The elf guard looked over at them and noticed they were riding Faremin horses, seeing the ridding equipment. "Halt, Faremin scum!"
THE beastman turned to them as they drew their weapons. Fang moved closer before the elf drew his bow tight. The beastman growled as he gripped his claymore. Fang sighed as he looked at them. "I am here to see King Vain, and Kratos, captain of the Ever Guards."
The two did not budge until Zero moved in closer. "Hold your weapons, we are Fang Krisnik and Zero Foxtail. Allies in the war, and Ren-Ky warriors." Zero held his breath, hoping that they would stay their weapons.
The two glanced at each other. "Yeah, and I am a human! Prepare to—" the beastman started.
"Enough, they are who they say they are! So, stay your weapons or face the consequences by my hands!" A voice called out from behind them.
The two flinched as they turned to see Kratos walking up to them. "Master Kratos, w-we—" The elf guard began but winced as he caught Kratos's glare.
"Enough, if Faremin were to have actually come here, they would come in force not calmly like Lord Fang, or Prince Zero would have." Zero winced at Kratos' words as he did not feel right being called a prince since he left their company. Kratos looked at the curious as to why they returned. "Now, tell me, why have you two returned?"
Zero took a deep breath as he looked at Kratos, "We came back because we need your help searching for a village in your kingdom, Feavermore. A man—well, kicked our ass a while ago. After Fang's mother had trained me, and he asked our caretaker to send us to this village to find some woman."
Kratos turned to Fang, raising his brow, "Wait, you had your ass kick by a stranger? That does not seem possible?"
Fang sighed heavily as he looked away, "It is true, he even paralyzed me for some time. I recently was able to walk on my own again. This Black Wolf character is powerful and has a broken destiny to where we and the other should have died about a week or more ago." Fang glanced at Kratos as he stared at Fang in disbelief.
"I think that is a load of crap. Besides, if that were the case, our foreseers would have consulted the King by now?" Kratos barked, he turned to Zero, "And you bought this?"
Zero gripped the reins as he stared at Kratos, "Evey word is true. The war would have ended in ten days with every country under their control and Luna…Luna…" Zero turned to Fang, hoping that he could fill in more details.
"Look, Kratos, the goddess of time herself has shown me what the future was to be with Lovell's death. And if he had lived, we would not be here right now." Fang growled at Kratos, before taking a deep breath. "Just please help find the village, and we will be on our way."
Kratos stepped back at Fang's demeanour. "When did you learn to—"
"To calm myself—without bursting on to people. It is thanks to Black Wolf. He tore me down, and I need answers. This person in Fevermore might know who he is as he knows Zero and me?" Fang calmly answered before turning to Zero as he nodded at him. "So, please help us out. If you need more proof, talk to the foreseers your self. If they dodge the question, ask if they can only see the destruction of the kingdom and if the current events match with what is going on now?"
Kratos hesitantly turned to the castle before turning back to Fang, "Fine, but you two will be under house arrest in the castle, as an investigation is underway. You two could be lying to me and been here earlier."
Zero scrunched his face, "Wait, what? What is going on in the castle?"
Kratos did not answer as he leads them into the capital. As they walked, Fang could hear the people talking about an attack on Kratos and the King's life within the last two weeks. They started to describe the attack as looking a lot like him, dark hair with fair skin and gold eyes. Fang become concerned as they reached the castle. He could tell this was not going to bod well for him as they pasted the gates.
Kratos guided Fang to his room while another guard escorted Zero to another place. Fang stared at Kratos long and hard as he walked behind him. "Kratos, your father, was an elf, do you have any relations with him?"
Kratos stopped and turned to Fang, "Your one to talk, but no, I do not have any relationship with that man, since he had raped my mother for her power and ability. With no regard for her status and relations, he would cause between Evermore and Inroar." Kratos began to shake in rage as he thought of his father.
Fang sighed as he stopped, "I see, my father, he was a kind man and saved your mother but was not able to save you from your father since you were an Evermorian citizen, not an Inraorian." Fang could see Kratos fuming as he spoke. "But at the same time, you probably feel betrayed since he had two children with her."
Kratos stopped and stared at Fang in confusion. "Wait, what are you talking about? She was with Lovell? No other child after him?"
Fang turned away from Kratos as he gripped his arm tight, "I found out that Hunter was Lovell's twin, not his clone. In other words, he is our half brother as well. Clorack explained how it became and that Ulva did everything, knowing that she would lose the children if she did not act fast." Fang closed his eyes, feeling the overwhelming urge to cry.
Kratos took a step back as he stared at Fang, "Your lying!"
Fang looked him in the eyes, "Theyan's don't lie unless to protect ones they care for. Plus Lovell, no matter what, he can never come back as he never had a real soul, only a fragmented one. Hunter, on the other hand, is the only one everyone felt during Ulva's pregnancy."
Kratos stumbled back as he listened to Fang, knowing he was not lying. "I can hardly believe it. Fang, I don't trust very much, especially since you never did anything to save me from my tyrant of a father. But I know that the—theyan's don't lie—thing can be right, but your part dog type theyan. The only type that can lie. Now until things are settled with the culprit running around, you are our main suspect, Fang Krisnik." His tone changing towards Fang as he shoved something into Fang's nose.
Fang could smell it was some sort of incense as he fell unconscious. Kratos ordered the men to take Fang to the dungeon and place an arma collar around his neck. To prevent his from using his powers properly and to keep him in his human form. Fang was barely conscious as he listened to Kratos giving the orders.
