The young man walked up to a young dragoness as he enters the village. "Miss, do you know where I can find Gregson?" he asked.
The woman didn't look at him as she was busy. "Yeah, he is up the hill. I am sorry if I am not much help, but I am swamped right now." She explained as she checked over some grates of supplies.
The man thanked her as he walked up the hill. As he approached an elderly man sat rocking his chair turned to meet the young man. "What do you want, boy? And take that mask off?" he growled at him.
"Sorry for the intrusion, but I came here looking for a man who can help me find a specific spirit to make a summons contract with. His name is Gregson." The young man asked.
The elderly man raised his brow at the boy, "I, am he? And what would you want with an old method like that? You could just make a contract with any old spirit? Why find a specific one?" Gregson asked him.
The young man sighed, "I need to find a person I knew that I know will help me. My name is @%$#@, oh shit, right, that spell is on." The young man cursed as he looked away, embarrassed.
Gregson sighed as he got up, "I will call you Wolf for now. As that is a wolf's mask on your face. I don't know why, but I will help you find this spirit. Just tell me his name, and I will do the rest." Gregson stared at Wolf as he seemed overjoyed.
Wolf grabbed Gregsons hand, "Thank you so much! Ah, sorry about that." Wolf apologized as he let go of his hand. Wolf cleared his throat as he composed himself. "Right, the person I am looking for died about four-five months ago, his name if Kyle Featherwind," Wolf explained to him.
Gregson raised his brow at him, "You mean to tell me you're a Faremin looking for a fallen comrade?"
Wolf sighed, "No, Kyle was a spy for the resistance and became a fast friend after I met him. I, myself, am not in any part, part of the Faremin forces. More like I am trying to help the Ren-Ky warriors and Lunatica find their way after—well, I would rather not get into details. I just need help with gaining Kyel as a summon. Please…?" Wolf pleaded Gregson.
Gregson stared at Wolf for a long while as he got up and walked into his house, "Follow me, we shall start immediately."
Wolf bowed as he followed Gregson inside. Gregson pulled out an old, dusty book and opened it to a page filled with names. Wolf stared at eh page to see many red names with black ones, "What is this book?"
Gregson placed it down in front of him. "A spirit calling book, you write the name of the one you are searching for and then talk to them usually, the names turn red if they can not be reached and black if they have been then sent back. But for those searching for creating a contract, the writing turns gold, indicating that they are now a summon spirit." Wolf stared at the page as Gregson handed him a quill, "Now write his name and wait. It might take a while before he answers the call."
Wolf nodded as he wrote Kyle's name in the book. Gregson was getting ready to walk away when Kyle appeared. Stunning both of them.
"You called $^%#, wait, why can't I say your name?" He grabbed Wolf by the collar, "Tell me right now why your name is sealed!"
Wolf grabbed his hand, "The world spirit sealed my name until I have made a contract with a spectral that could help me in my mission to improve the Ren-Ky's and Lunatica in readying them for a coming war. He and the first theyan high king have asked me to help in any way I can. I need help as you might be a shadow type of spirit." Wolf explained.
Kyle sighed as he sat down, "Alright, then what else did he say?"
Wolf sheepishly scratched his chin, "He also asked me to have you find the…um, four sacred summons as well."
Kyle glared at him, "Are you insane? Do you know how much magic it takes s to even summon just one of those four? You would have to be born around a world boom in Shenka, and you were not?" Kyle barked at Wolf.
Wolf sank back in his seat, "Yes, I am aware, but my magic is a lot higher since then as well. As of—" Wolf leaned over to Kyle's ear and whispered in his ear.
Kyle went pale as Wolf pulled away, "Well, that explains a lot and why he would say that? But how long until they both disappear?"
Wolf turned away, "Junra eighteenth, for the fourth year of the current era."
Kyle sighed as he looked at his hands, "Alright then, let us do this then we can work on summoning, the azure dragon, Arthur, the black tortoise, Kuro, the white tigress, Yuki, and the scarlet phoenix, Scarlett. I am surprised that Scarlett De Rosier shares a name with." Kyle said, annoyed by that trivial fact.
Gregson stared at them, be for coughing to gain their attention. "If I may, but I might be able to help since I know more about the Ren-Ky's and what they represent?" He gestured the idea.
Wolf turned to Kyle, "I think that would be great, but once I have made my contract with Kyle, I will tell you my name and then seal it so no one can ever say who I am by description or otherwise."
Gregson nodded as he agreed to the deal. Wolf turned to Kyle and made the contract. Turning into a shadowy black wolf. Wolf could not help himself as well as Gregson as they burst out laughing.
Kyle stared at them, annoyed by the fact he matched Wolf's mask. "This isn't funny," Kyle growled as they couldn't stop.
Wolf began to calm himself, "Sorry, Kyle, but you turning into a wolf was the icing on the cake." Wolf coughed before looking back at him, "Now, Shadow we can—"
"Hold it! Shadow? Are you lazy or something? You couldn't think of anything better than that?" Kyle complained at Wolf as he turned into his original self.
Wolf smiled, "I thought by using your old alias, it fit better? I had other names if you weren't a shadow type, but I did think long and hard on the matter." He explained.
Shadow sighed as he turned away, blushing at the idea, "Fine, but don't blame me if someone figures out my old identity when I was living person."
Wolf nodded as he turned to Gregson, "Now let me explain everything and who I am." Wolf explained everything to Gregson as he sat, listening to Wolf's explanation. "…as you can see, keeping my identity a secret form them is crucial."
Gregson nodded as he grabbed a holo-communicator. "We will use this as to speak then. Send Lance and Scarlett my way as I feel it might be the best as they are freedom and kindness. I will help them understand what a rRen-Ky really is and what they were initially to be by Terrance's standards."
Wolf nodded as he tucked the communicator in his bag. "Verry well, we will leave tomorrow, and I will gain those four when the time comes. I will be heading to Evermore to see a woman. She might be able to help with some of the others."
Gregson nodded, "She might if I think I know who you are talking about. But you said that Hunter is with Luna, Zero with Fang and Zephyr with Prince Gale. Are the other groups? I think Fang and Zero might benefit from her."
Wolf nodded as he walked over to the door, "Well, take care. I will do what I can as I know the Faremin will be trying to kill them, where I will stop them at any cost by foiling their plans."
Gregson nodded in agreement as he sat smiling. Waiting for their forth coming.
