Fenya yawned as she walked over to the kitchen. She noticed Zero cooking as he smiled, doing so. She smiled at him. "So, you like cooking, huh?"
Zero jumped as he turned around to see her. "Fenya, your awake?"
She walked over to him. "So, how did you and my son meet? And are you two an item?"
Zero slowly narrowed his eyes, "Ewe for one and we met thanks to Lovell saving me." Zero shuddered before turning back to his cooking.
Fenya snicked as his comment. "Don't take offence to it, I was teasing. Fang never had friends growing up as he is a Ry'Kynyn or wolfdog. Thanks to me, begin a dog type theyan." She leaned against the counter. "What made you want to follow him after Lovell was killed?"
Zero paused for a moment and began to think about the question. "I really don't know? Maybe I wanted to get strong like him and not have to worry about Hunter taking Lovells place as leader?" I don't really know the answer to that yet." Zero stared at the food.
Fenya smiled disappeared. "Well, I think you came because you felt as if you could find what you lack by fallowing Fang in his shadow. But that is not my place to say. Fang is going to be up soon if he isn't in the courtyard already?" Fang walked in as he yawned. "Speak of the devil himself."
Fang looked at his mother. "What were you talking about?" he glared at her.
She clasped her chest as if she was in pain, "Your words hurt me, my dear son." Then she expression went dangerous towards him, "But seriously, I am glad to see you, and I only had a small chat. I am, not the monster you see me as."
"Says the dog, remember most dog type theyans kill for sport, and you are no different," Fang growled at her.
She narrowed her eyes, "And you are, part dog, remember? You had killed for sport as well when you were younger."
Fang growled louder as Zero took a deep breath. "Enough, both of you!" Fang jumped at Zero, yelling him. "Look, you came here to train, not to argue. I am going to do the same as I am not a great fighter. Yes, I have training at the Evermore kingdom but not proper training on how to wield a weapon. Fang, it might be best if you can try and activate your gem as it can turn into a weapon for battle." Zero stood his ground as he stared at Fang.
Fang sighed as he turned to his mother. "Fine, but once you are attuned to fighting, we are leaving."
Fenya smiled as she turned her head to Zero, "What weapon?" she asked as a grin crept across her face.
Zero felt a chill as she looked at him. He turned to meet her gaze. Sword and shield. As that is what my Ren-Ky jewel turns into."
She lept towards Fang, "Very well, I will go and prepare the yard for you. OH and Fang, I will be teaching you how to read your opponent. As you sorely lack in that."
Fang gripped his and into a tight fist as she left. Zero looked over at him, seeing seith in rage. "Fang, let us eat first and then you can deal with your mother? It isnt like she knows anyone who could help you?"
Fang sighed, "Yes, she does, my aunt. I never mention her because she is.e.esantric and a tigress."
Zero raised his brow at him, "Wait, I thought she would be a dog type?"
Fang sighed as he held his head. "Yes, you would think that, but when it comes to two different types having mated, like in the case of my grandfather and mother on my mother's side. The children can come out one or the other. My grandfather was a tiger, and my grandmother was a dog."
"Ahh, that makes sense. So, your mother came out of a dog while your aunt a tiger. Wait, does this mean you have other aunts and uncles?" Zero asked as he brought over the food.
Fang shook his head, "Thank the heavens no, for them to even get together was a miracle, to begin with. Besides, the food is getting cold. Let's eat." Fang grabbed some food and began to eat. Zero stared at him for a moment before digging in himself.
After they finished, they both headed for the courtyard where Fenya and another woman stood waiting for them. Fang glared at the woman as she glared back at him.
"Its been a long time Fang." The woman coldly spoke at him.
"Likewise, Tenya, how has it been working for Vann?" Fang growled at her.
Tenya looked at Fenya, "You know he is a traitor and if the council finds out that we are training the enemy, we could be executed."
Fenya sighed at her sister, "Tenya, just help me with him. Besides, he might change sides, knowing that it is only a matter of time before Lunatica is found and dealt with."
Fang growled as they talked about Luna. Tenya furled her, brows, "Don't know about that? Form the gossip going around an enforcer is hunting down anyone who gets in one of the councillor's ways when it comes to the Ren-Ky's and Lunatica."
Fang stared at them, coughing at gain their attention. "Look, I don't have all day, so can we get on with the training?"
Tenya sighed as she waved him over, "Alright then, come with me, and I will show you how to read your opponents moves before they strike."
Fenya watched a Fang, and Tenya walked away. Leaving the two of them to start Zero's training. Zero turned to Fenya as she tossed him a wooden sword and shield. "Now show me what you've got. Attack this target, and I will gauge you where I need to start. It usually takes me six to seven months to train someone fully, so be prepared to hurt, sweat and get frustrated with me."
Zero raised his brow at her last word she said, before turning to the dummy. He charged it but was unable to keep his footing. Sending him to the ground. Fenya squatted down to him. "We have a lot of work. We will start with your stance then work up from there." She stood up and extended her hand, helping Zero to his feet. "Now, I am going to get something that looks ridiculous but has helped many in gaining their footing."
Zero stared at her as she walked off to grab something off the rails. And rolled it out towards his feet. "What is this?" Zero asked her before looking at it more closely.
"This is a stance mark mat. I created it back before Fang was even a thought. It maps out where you should put your feet when attacking. Like I said, it looks ridiculous."
Zero looked up at her before placing his feet over the first step points. "So, I am guessing I just follow the pattern for a time, and then you take it away?"
Fenya smiled, "Yes, in three hours, you should have learned the steps, as once you move, the enchantment will take over your body and I will have put you in a time-bubble that speeds up time for you and not for everyone else." Fenya explains as she pulled out a round gem. Crushing it in her hand as Zero tried asking what she meant.
Zero was forces by the enchantment to do the movements, even with the sword movements as she smiled outside the bubble and walked away. Zero tried to call her but was to no avail. Fenya pulled up a chair as she watched him go threw the motions.
Three hours passed as Zero fell to his knees after being freed by the enchantments grasp. Fenya looked up at him as he huffed, dripping in sweat. She grabbed a bottle and brought it to him.
"Here, drink this. It will replenish you instantly." Fenya handed the bottle to Zero.
Zero took the bottle and opened it, staring inside. "What is it?"
Fenya sighed at his question, "Drink, then I will answer." Zero glanced at her before taking a sip. His eye widens as it tasted good. "Taste good, doesn't it? Well, that my boy. It is dragons blood. It is actually good for you."
Zero took another sip before handing it back to her, "I figured that once I tasted it. It would taste to whatever beverage the person likes."
Fenya grinned at him, "Well, well, you know about it and took two sips knowing what it was?"
Zero got back up to his feet and glanced at Fenya. She moved over as he walked over to where he should start attacking. Zero took a deep breath and charged the dummy again. This time, destroying both the model and the wooden sword.
Fenya clapped her hands at him as he turned and smiled at her. "And you said I would get frustrated at you?"
Fenya walked over to him and tapped his shoulder. "I think you will be ready sooner than I anticipated. Now, the real problem is Fang and Tenya." She slowly narrowed her eyes in their direction as she could hear them arguing.
Zero smiled as he glanced at her. "What is next?"
Fenya grumbled, "Next is tearing those two apart before one ends up dead."
Zero jumped as a loud crash came from their direction. "Yeah, that might be wise…"
Fenya and Zero slowly opened the door to where they were as Fang barge passed them. Tenya started to give chase but was stopped by Fenya, shaking her head at her.
"Fenya, let me go!"
"No, you two need to cool it before killing one another," Fenya explained to her sister. "Look, I will talk to Fang, you and stay here with Zero. He might be able to help with Fang. MIGHT!" She empathized.
Tenya sighed as Fenya rushed off to talk to Fang. Zero glanced at Tenya as she sat down. "I do not get that boy? He is so stubborn to the point where you cannot reason with him." Tenya started venting.
Zero pulled up a chair to her and sat down. "He has trust issues that I have noticed. When Lovell was being taken over by the darkness fever, Fang went to kill him. I think he felt guilty for what happened to his father and wanted to end Lovell's suffering. But once Lovell broke free, Fang did not trust him as he had seen his father slip away." Zero explain. "That what I found out from the last eight months."
Tenya slowly turned away, "Oh, that's right, he was there when Demora cast the spell onto Terrance."
Zero nodded as he looked away. "Yes, I was terrified when it all happened and lost trust in Lovell as well, and now I am here. Training with Fenya." Zero smiled, "I like having a challenge to where I can prove someone wrong about something."
Tenya blinked for a moment before looking away, "Of course, Fang is the same when it comes to training. If I apply that method, he will understand it better." Tenya murmured to her self.
Zero raised his brow at her. "What method?"
Tenya stood up, "I have to go find Fang! Sorry, no time to explain!"
Zero watched as Tenya ran off to find Fang. Leaving him questioning what he did to spark an idea in her head.
