Chapter 102 - Zeinra 20th - Shadow

Azoth stormed the halls the Foxriver base. Erin walking right behind him.

"Azoth I know you are mad about being sent here by his majesty but what can we do when everything we do is foiled by this Black Wolf?" Erin tried to reason with him.

Azoth stopped and turned to her; he was ready to strangle her. Yet stopped himself before calming his nerves. "I know, but if that fool never appeared, we would have had those traitors all killed off, and my original squad returned to me. Kana was the only one holding them against me. Lau would have pulled everyone back to our side and any that were born within. Now that is on hold thanks to this Black Wolf character."

Erin turned to the village outside. "Azoth, I know your mad about that but who ever this Black wolf is, we need to him dead before killing Kana. He might pull the same stunt with Hans and save his target. We still don't know who is gaining his information from and how they are communicating? Lord Demora went pale by just hearing Hans report. We both know the weapon he has could end our campaign of our King becoming the new god of life and death. Liberating the people from Lunatica's lies and deceptions of bring people back from the dead and live lost threw mortality?"

Azoth growled softly as he looked out the window, "I know. Whatever that weapon is? It is to dangerous for our enemies to get a hold of." Shadow watched them from the shadows, leaving after their conversation.

Wolf waited for his return on the out skirts of the village. "So, how did Azoth feel about my intervention?"

Shadow emerged from Wolf's shadow. "Just as you said, angered and wanting to kill you. L—Wolf, what is your plan? You know if he see's your face he will—"

"Shadow, I have already set precautions so that he will not see my true face. You worry too much, just as you did when you were Kyle. Hunters close friend and brother to Kito and Lau." Wolf sneered. Shadow turned human grabbing Wolf by the collar. "Come now, we knew each other before—we'll you know?"

Shadow pulled away, "Yes, I know but you can irritate me with your attitude. You changed since you returned. But that is to be expected since you do not have to worry as much. With the knowledge you now possess. It is hard not to respect you."

Wolf smiled, "Thank you, but we both know we have a job to do until that set date when I send those letters. I can enjoy myself and keep them safe until that time."

Wolf walked into the village. The streets were empty as he walked them. People closing their doors and rushing their children in. Shadow appeared beside him and looked up. He could see a faint smiled on Wolfs face. He sighed as he jumped on the roofs watching for the enemy. Shadow flicked his ear signaling to Wolf that they were heading down the street.

Wolf stopped at he watched Erin argue with Azoth. "Azoth do you really think that this Black Wolf fella will come here? We should get back to the base before—"

Azoth stopped her, "well what do you call this then?" Erin noticed him starting to smile in glee. She turned to see Black Wolf standing before them. "Well, well, what do we have here?"

Azoth scanned Wolf for his gun but could not see it. Wolf leaned on to one side as if to mock them. Erin stood in shock seeing him. He was covered head to toe where you could not even see his hair, skin, or other defining feature's. Wolf pulled back his cloak revealing his handgun.

"Looking for this Azoth?" Azoth's smiled disappeared as fast as it came as Wolf spoke. "Surprised, well, let me tell you something, this gun comes in a set."

Wolf pulled the gun out and fired at Erin. Landing his hit on her right leg. The bullet pierced her leg and a light emitted from it causing vines to grow, Erin screamed as the pain erupted form the wound. "And these are not the only dragon scale bullets I have."

Azoth gritted his teath knowing that he was in a disadvantage over Wolf. "What is a dragon scale bullet?" Azoth knew he had to get info on the weapon.

Wolf smiled as he cocked the gun revealing a bullet casing made from a dragon's scale. The bullet hit the ground and disappeared. "Well, I could tell you and you would give that information to Vann but spare me your stalling. I know you are afraid of me."

Azoth's eyes widened as Wolf vanished before him. Azoth looked around as Erin clenched her leg, as she tried to pull the bullet out. Wolf grabbed her by the hair and pulled her back. Fired into her leg once more, but this time fire exploded out. Azoth whipped his head to see him standing inches away. Azoth was able to see the other gun as Wolf aimed the one, he had already out, towards Azoth.

"Now, now, you might want to hear me out." Azoth began to sweat as he watched for his chance. "I came hear to talk, nothing more. Now if you may, please calm yourself or I will use alchemic magic with life and turn her into a chimera."

Azoth backed off seeing that Wolf was not bluffing as he stepped back. Wolf released Erin and changed cartridges. Azoth notice the bullets were made form elemental sunstones. His eye widen when he looked at them. Wolf fired Erin in the back of her head, healing her wounds.

"I am guessing those where holy bullets telling from the type of sunstone used?" Azoth asked as his sweat chilled him.

"Yes, and very observant, now that she is healed shall we go and talk somewhere less public?"

Erin huffed as she looked up at Wolf, she knew that he was powerful and was able to bring Azoth practically to his knees with just a few actions. Azoth turned to led him back to their base within the village. Wolf nodded as he whistled to Shadow. Shadow nodded as he jumped into Wolfs shadow. Fear gripped her as she realized that he could spy on them at any given time.

As they entered a room Wolf took off the lower part of his clock off revealing all the cartridges of dragon scale bullets lining his back, as well as a part of daggers and two short swords strapped to his waist. They looked at each other wondering what Wolf want to talk about.

"Have a seat? I should not have to tell my hosts this." Azoth and Erin both took a seat across from him. "Now to why I am here and my reasoning's?" Wolf laced his fingers and leaned into them, "I want you to not to hunt your son Hunter, and the other Ren-Ky' until Junra eighteenth, year five. AS thing stand they are not your main threat but I am. And—"

"Wait what do you mean about Hunter being Azoths son? He is—"

"Shut your trap, I will explain, Azoth had two sons one born premature and place into one ot eh cloning tank by Ulva, and the other never truly existed, since he was a soulless." Erin's eye widen realizing that Lovell never existed. Azoth went pale as he listened. "On top of you using your flesh and blood as a tool that you threw away, Uriel is the one I serve, the world spirit."

Azoth could not move as he listened to Wolf speak Erin tuned to Wolf, "Wait you mean that Uriel is—what? Trying to stop Demora? Your insane what can a myth do?"

Wolf smiled beneath his mask. "Well you see, Lovell's soul was created by Uriel Krisnik of Altora, your ancestor Azoth, and Uriel Krisnik of Drasonia, also known as the world spirit. By taking apart of their souls and forming it into Lovell—Sorry Uriel Krisnik's spirit."

Erin chocked as she heard him say their names. "W-wait you mean to say that Lovell—I-I mean Uriel, had both the world spirit and his ancestor's spirits inside of him?"

Wolf nodded, "Yes and not, he had probably more like twenty present of each and the rest from what was trying to become his soul to create his soul, yet there lies another problem with this information."

Azoth begrudgingly opened his mouth, "And what is that?"

Wolf leaned back, "You should already know, because you see the world spirit was the son of Lunatica when she was still part of Drasonia before becoming Altora's. He has a one-way ticket for Uriel, the second."

Azoth stood up, "That is impossible Uriel—or whatever his name is—died and cannot come back without the goddess power, and she will not have that power until she reached her twenty-fifth birthday and passes away, on top of that! What makes you think that Lovell will return!"

Wolf began to laugh; Azoth clenched his hand as he knew Wolf would speak. Wolf calmed himself, "The tears of the fallen shall transcend the gods if their will is strong, the dead shall rise in a body of tears and become whole after three months."

Erin blinked as Azoth grabbed Wolf by the collar. "What does that mean?"

Wolf grabbed his arm, "It is how Lovell returned, that saying is back from an old time lost and forgotten. If you interpret it where through the tears of those who loved him have create a delucus body from their tears but where this body becomes flesh and blood over three moths time. In a sense Lovell can return without the goddess power?"

Erin went pale as she knew that what he said could happen. Azoth let Wolf go as he stood up. Leaving them with nothing but more questions on what was could happen. Azoth let out a raging howl as Wolf existed the building. Shadow reappearing as they left into the shadows.
