Chapter 93 - Lark 5th - Rose

Luna looked around the streets as she tried to find out who were the theyans. Hunter stood beside her as he yawned.

"Oh, which ones are they?" Luna struggled as she scanned the people.

"Luna, they might have moved on from this town. We might as well ask around to see if—" Hunter stopped as he noticed Crow in the distance.

Hunter grabbed Luna and ran down an alleyway. Luna struggled as she asked him what was going on. Hunter looked behind him to see that Crow was following him. He pulled her into a store and rushed to the back. Luna followed behind as she did not know what was going on. Hunter then led her into a busy street.

He looked around to see if he lost Crow. Hunter did not see her anymore and sighed in relief. Luna looked around to see no one as she turned to Hunter.

"Hunter, what was that all about?"

Hunter went to answer when someone behind him grabbed him by the shoulders. "It's been a while, Hunter?"

Hunter froze as he looked behind him. Crow was standing behind him as she smiled coldly. "C-Crow, what are you doing here?"

Kito came from behind her, "We were going to ask the same?"

Hunter looked at them, confused as to why they were there. Luna tucked behind Hunter, worried that they might attack her. Hunter looked over his shoulder to Luna.

"We came here looking for some people. That's all. Now, why are you and Crow doing here?"

Crow smiled as she touched her belly, "Well, we moved here as to safely raise our little one."

Hunter dropped his mouth as Luna grabbed her hand. "Congrats! Do you have names picked out?"

Crow looked at Kito, "No, not yet, but we both agreed to not name him in honour of my brother."

Crow smiled, "To be honest, Hunter, you should not return to the Faremin lands ever, no knows that you are alive other than Vail and myself."

Hunter looked towards the ground, "Oh, so they don't know I am alive?"

Kito nodded, "Yeah, Vann thought you killed yourself after he told me that you killed Lovell that day. I asked him how, and he told me. I am so sorry you had gone through that." Kito clenched his hand as Crow touched his arm. "I wish I was stronger, where you didn't lose him."

Hunter smiled as he looked up at him, "Well, there is something you should know, and that is that I was never a clone, but Lovell—sorry Uriel's twin brother. I was just born premature and was place within one of the cloning tubes by my mother as to give a chance at life."

Crow looked at Hunter, "wait if you were never a clone, then you have legitimacy to the throne then?"

Hunter nodded, "Yes, but I don't know if I would be suited to rule? All I know is that my grandfather must be stopped, just like my brother tried to do before I—well, you know. But right now, we need to find some folk. That have come from another land and asks for their help?"

Kito crossed his arms, "We have been here since Marin 20th-30th and haven't seen much. But the locals might have? I know that the Hunters Society Branch here might have some info."

"Thanks, Kito, and I hope you and Crow figure out a name soon?"

Hunter waved at them as he and Luna walked over to the Hunters Society branch. As they entered a young woman sat in the corner, she watched them as they walk up to the counter.

"Hi, how can I help you?" the receptionist asked.

Hunter leaned on the counter. "Yeah, we were wondering if a group of people came through town recently. About five or more?"

The receptionist sighed as she pointed over at the woman in the corner. "That woman over there might be able to help you. She came here with twenty others into town about five-six months ago. They do odd jobs around town but seem to keep to themselves. Shame really, most of them are around your age and slightly younger."

Hunter thank the receptionist as they walked over. The woman looked up at them as she stared at Hunter.

"What do you want me to hunt?"

Hunter looked at Luna, "We—"

"Just spit it out already, who or what do you need killed?"

Luna sat down, "We are here because of a rumour of elder ones within the vicinity? We were hoping you might be one of them and could take us to talk?"

The woman looked over Luna, "And why would I help you?"

Hunter pulled out the Ren-Ky jewel, barely visible from where they sat. "This might help with your cooperation?"

The woman stared at the jewel. Then she looked at Hunter. "Just who are you, boy?"

Hunter leaned into her ear. "Let's just say I cannot tell you in public because I am supposed to be dead."

Hunter eyed over at two men who walked in, they wore Faremin uniforms as they stat down ordering food and beer. The woman nodded as she got up and led them to her people.

As they entered the encampment, men and women seemed to watch them as they walked over to their leader. The woman who helps them walked over to a tent.

"Chief, we have company! They wish to see you?"

"Let them in." An elderly man's voice called out.

Luna and Hunter walked un as the woman lifted the fabric. They were greeted by a man who looked elderly as Luna noticed he was not. Hunter looked over at her to see her faintly smile.

"Welcome to our humble home, how my people aid you in your endeavours?"

Luna bowed at him, "Thank you, kind sir, we came here to ask for your help with a war that I and several others are hoping to finally end. But as you can tell, we need allies to hold of the main forces, So far, we have the Gold Heart kingdom, Evermore, Grand Dale and the Inroar Dynasty. Yet we also know we would need the aid of a few more kingdoms to fight out a common enemy."

The chief stared at her as she never lifted her head. Caressing his beard, he looked over at Hunter, feeling something about him as he turned his attention back to Luna, "Why would you need our help?"

Hunter stepped forward, "Because we need the theyans help to stop Demora, the Ren-Ky warriors need as much help as they can get. Lady Luna and I came here in hopes to gain your help since the Krisnik's need help within this war."

His eyes widened as he looked at them, "How did you know that we were—"

Luna lifted her head, "The Inroar King, had told us. Let me introduce myself properly, I am Luna, the reincarnation of Lunatica."

The chief's eyes widen once more as he stood up, releasing his spell, revealing as a young man with copper hair and grey eyes. "Wait, your Lunatica?" Luna nodded as she showed the mark to prove herself. The Chief stumbled back in shock as he began to laugh. "Well, I be? To think you are right here. Let me introduce myself, I am Kanryck, spelt with a 'y', not an i."

Luna smiled as she bowed once more, and Hunter did the same. "My name is Hunter; my twin was a theyan before we lost him."

Kanryck stared at Hunter, "Who killed him?"

Hunter winced as he looked up at him. "First let me explain who I am and my past so you can understand what happened."

Kanryck nodded as he prompted them to sit. Hunter explained what he went through leading up to him killing Lovell. Kanryck's face grew cold at Hunters' words. Hunter watched him feeling his glare burn through him. Luna turned away as she tried to hold her tears back.

"… now we are here because my brother never stopped believing in stopping Demora, our grandfather." Hunter finished.

Kanryck began to growl at Hunter, "You his spawn?"

Hunter nodded. "Yes, but I—no, you might think that I work for him. But I assure you that is not the case. Lovell knew who he was, and I just found out the truth a while back. Yet now I am to replace him as the Ren-Ky of hope."

Kanryck stared at him, "Wait the Ren-Ky of hope?"

Hunter nodded as Luna spoke up. "Yes, Lovell was able to separate the stone-like his ancestor before him making one to six to seven Ren-Ky warriors. Now there are the warriors of freedom, kindness, strength, courage, wisdom, life, and hope. Each represented by an element."

Kanryck closed his eyes, "and what elements are these?"

"Light of hope, the darkness of life, winds of freedom, lightning of strength, the earth of kindness, waters of knowledge and flames of courage," Hunter answered.

Kanryck opened his eyes and looked at them. "Very well then, my people and I will help, when do we strike?"

Luna smiled. "Thank you, but to be honest we do not know, but we will send word as soon as we are ready to strike and are able to fight off the Faremin kingdoms soldier in combat."

Kanryck smiled, "Very well, where should we wait for you until that time?"

Luna looked at Hunter, he nodded as he turned to Kanryck. "If you and the others make your way to Inroar's capital and tell the king you were sent by her holiness, my grandfather will let you stay there as well as help train his men for the day we strike."

Kanryck nodded. "Now the next question is where will you go after this?"

Hunter looked at Luna, "We don't know just yet, but we are doing what we can to find allies. So, wherever the wind takes us, I guess?"

Kanryck smiled. "Why don't you head east. I might take you a year to get to this location, but it might be worth your time."

"Thank you, but do you know what I might find there?" Luna asked.

Kanryck nodded, "Yes, form what my people have told me there are defectors of the Faremin kingdom living out there after a battle with the animilain kingdom. I think the kingdom was called Fairwind? So, it might be a trek getting there."

Hunter's face went pale, "I remember hearing about that kingdom before its fall. that happened about eighteen years ago." He looked away, "I also know it was a huge win for the Faremin but lost the land after Gorma took over some of the lands. Cutting it off."

Kanryck nodded. "Yes, we travelled threw there on our way here from the continent of Valla, to the far east. Crossing the Interfering mountains."

Luna smiled as she thanked him. Kanryck asked them to stay the night and leave within a week. Luna agreed as they stayed the night, knowing they would have to prepare for the long journey ahead.
