Chapter 92 - Let's roll

Nicky was the first to fall to his knees, hurrying off his shirt and pants. Lana was already lifting the hem of her dress next to him. Vicky hid behind her brother's back and tried to take off her T-shirt with trembling fingers, becoming even more entangled in it. Brian was calm as a rock, only his face betrayed the internal tension and the struggle that he was now having with his other half.

Greg hesitated only a moment, then not paying attention to the creeped out expressions of his family, pulled off his shirt and ran to Lana with the children. Straightening the fabric, he somehow tried to cover the girls with it and his own back from the views of those present.

Seeing Greg in front of her, Lana smiled gratefully, her face relaxed a bit and a turn occurred in just a second. Nicky had already completed his transformation and now covered Vicky with his beastly body. The girl apparently still didn't manage to get rid of the clothes, and now the little black wolf was wallowing in pieces of white cloth, hopelessly entangling even more. Brian's shift happened almost imperceptibly, he threw off his clothes and turned so quickly that any stripper would sell his soul for such skill.

Noticing how Nicky was trying to help his sister, Greg immediately jumped towards them.

"Hey, wait!" - Greg barked at the guy, or instead now the wolf, pulling out a piece of cloth from the jaws. - "You'll entangle her even more. Vicky, stop wriggling, just stay still!"

From the depths of the fabric, he heard a whine, but the girl obeyed. Greg barely began to unravel the material, trying to pull it off the little she-wolf, who was actually the size of a calf. Risa arrived in time to help him. In four hands, they finally managed to free Vicky, and she gratefully licked both of them, pressed herself against Greg's legs, anxiously squinting behind his back.

Greg halted a little, hearing the sound of someone clearing the throat. Frank, apparently, wanted to hint that Greg should turn around. Exactly that Gregory absolutely did not want to do right now. He already felt with his back the intensity of stares directed towards him.

But there was no other way, and Greg fastened a broad smile on his face and anxiously peered at his family.

"You know, mom, I somehow forgot to tell you one little thing," - he said fawningly, turning around and finding the pale face of Rosie with his eyes. - "You always said that you wouldn't care what family my future wife would be from, the main thing is that she should be a good girl, right? ... Well, you see ... She is a really good girl!"

To confirm, Greg even patted Lana on the forehead and scratched her ear. Rosie stared at her son for a couple of seconds, surrounded by four werewolves, then sighed and shook her head.

"Is this some kind of perverted revenge for the fact that I did not allow you to have a dog as a child?" - She finally said in an absolutely calm voice.

"Mom! How can you say that?" - Greg immediately became indignant, covering Lana's ears with his hands. - "They're a werewolf, and that sounds proud!"

" Yes Yes. Then don't ask me to walk your puppies in a few years." - Rosy shote back mockingly making a careful step forward. This determined woman was joking though, but behind the fearless facade, one could still see the light tremor of her hands. As soon as she moved forward, all the others seemed to come out of a stupor.

"Mom!" - squealed Becky, catching her hand. - "This is ... this ..."

Her tongue became tattered, and her eyes grew larger than the lenses in her glasses. Rosie squinted at her daughter and smiled wryly.

"Calm down, dear! If they wanted to devour us, they'd swallow Maddy long ago. Plus, they also endure Greg all this time, which means they have patience almost like that of Buddhist monks. They have some many chances to bite off at least his head, but they didn't. That's clearly prove something!" - Rosie smoothly patted her daughter's hand.

"But mom!" - Becky was outraged but didn't have time to finish, as the figure of her sister flashed past them. Marina, not slowing down, pounced on Lana, throwing Greg aside.

"This is just a phenomenal! Awesome!" - She murmured, starting to feel the unhappy wolf from all sides. Her eyes burned with a crazy fire of thirst for knowledge.

"Marina! Stop it now!" - Greg shouted at her, seeing as she already tried to put hands into Lana's mouth. - "This is my girlfriend, for Gods sack! You can't behave this way!"

Marina slowly turned to her brother for a second, then showed him thumbs-up.

"Finnely you've made a great choice! I approve. Good job!"- She said in a voice full of admiration. Greg just rolled his eyes and turned to everyone else.

Frank, though he knew about the four shifters, was still not quite ready to all this. He, too, came closer, but his eyes together with admiration were full of fear. Especially after he looked at Brian. The white wolf was sitting quietly, but his eyes instantly made it clear what would happen if Marina tried to shove her fingers into his mouth.

On the other hand, Tony and Maddy's facial expressions were completely blank. The girl raised herself on her elbows from the improvised stretcher and froze with her mouth open. But such a silent reaction from Tony somewhat strained Greg.

He narrowed his eyes, peering into his friend's expression. Can it be, that Tony really already was aware of everything, and therefore he was not surprised? At that moment, Tony finally looked up from the shifters and to Greg. An odd fire appeared in his eyes.

"Greg!" - He called for some reason in a loud whisper. - "Can I ride your girlfriend?"

"..."

Now it was Greg's turn to look at his friend blankly, trying to understand what he had just heard.

Tony suddenly frowned, finally realizing what he just blurted out.

"Damn, it sounded different in my head."

"I really hope so ..." - Greg hissed through clenched teeth.

"But you should consider the shock I'm in. Heck! Lana ... and the children ... and this blonde showboy ..."

"Oh, yes! They also have an excellent hearing, just like in fairy tales."

Tony immediately shut his mouth, but could not stand even a couple of seconds. Approaching Greg as close as possible, he whispered.

"Listen, what if I beg Brian, will he agree to give me a ride? I'm even ready to kneel!"

"Try it!" - Greg replied with a sly smirk and looked back at the wolf, who was grinning invitingly at that moment.

" So, guys, are you still going to save me?" - Maddy's sharp voice interrupted the overall situation. - "I'm shocked and all that too, but my leg still hurts like hell. And since these Furries are not going to eat us just yet ..."

" What an uninteresting reaction you have!" - Greg muttered, turning finally back to his creation.

"Cognitive dissonance now rules in my brain. So I prefer to be in the hospital before I have a nervous breakdown." - Maddy carefully pronounced the words, as if her tongue suddenly swelled. Greg laughed and headed for the buggy.

"Ok, jokes aside. We must move our princess to her carriage." - Greg announced clapping his hands. Frank moved first, followed by Tony, but they still glanced from time to time in the direction of four mythical creation, unable to turn their eyes away from huge wolves, diligently pretending to be obedient doggies.

"I can't believe that this pompous douche can at the same time be so ... fluffy and ..." - Maddy muttered, frowning unhappy, glancing at Brian too while she was being carried past on the door. In response, he coughed strangely; for some reason, it seemed to Greg to be something like a laugh. A sudden picture appeared in his head. He did not immediately realize that it was Lana's thoughts that came to him because of their strange connection. Greg frowned, wondering what she wanted to pass on him, but when he finally figured it out, Greg also started to cough in a sudden fit of laughter.

" No way?" - He cracked through laughter, turning to the she-wolf. She nodded her head and grinned.

"What?" - The rest immediately looked at him. But Greg only mysteriously smiled and proceeded to the car.

Shoving Maddie in the front seat was a quest. She was cursing and screeching like a banshee, and the three guys were soaked and annoyed to the point that they completely forgot about the presence of four mythical creatures just a few steps from them. Finally, somehow, having pushed the girl on the seat and strapped her and the leg, the three guys straightened up and wiping the sweat from their forehead, looked at each other.

" What now, Oh Great Schemer?" - Tony spoke in a tired but elated tone.

"Now we need to harness our four beautiful ... honorable shifters." - Greg answered, smiling broadly at the wolves. Brian growled in response and gritted his teeth.

Fortunately, they did not have to persuade them for long. Apparently, Maddy's howls had already gotten to the four were too, especially considering that their hearing was better than human.

Lana was the first to take the position at the head, next to a strange interweaving of chains, leather, and rope. Greg immediately began to pack her in all this staff, simultaneously whispering something into her shaggy ear and scratching. Judging by the expression on his face, he enjoyed it immensely. Patting, not harnessing...

Watching this, Frank grew a little bolder and approached Nicky, who also took his position. The black wolf immediately turned his face towards Franky and stared, watching every movement of the man. In the wolf's skin, Nicky's unique way of looking seemed to have an additional effect, since Frank was immediately covered with cold sweat. Seeing the man's confusion, the wolf snorted a little, as if smiling and shook his head, giving permission.

"I want to point out, Nicholas!" - Frankie said carefully. - "That I do all this with great respect and all that." - In response, the wolf glanced at him with a mocking gaze, allowing him to harness himself, too.

Tony had already moved towards Vicky, literally licking her with his burning eyes, but Marina was there first. Fortunately, this time she didn't try to stick anything in the mouth of the unfortunate girl, who was taken aback by such popularity, but still seized the moment to feel in different places, causing the little she-wolf to yelp a couple times.

"Oh, come on. We are all girls." - Marina spoke soothingly and winked at Vicky, who in response bared her fangs, though it didn't work out as threateningly as the others, but rather very cute.

Risa, meanwhile, was coping with Brian. And judging by the white wolf's contented face, she had to promise a lot to him, to make this guy behave.

Finally, all were in their places. Greg climbed onto the roof, and Tony slipped into the front seat, just a second ahead of Marina.

"Let's roll!" - Greg shouted, definitely enjoying the situation, but the next moment he barely managed to cling to the rail, when the werewolves started to move at a furious pace. It seems he slightly underestimated the real speed of the shifter in the full moon,...
