Tony was rushing about the room like a lion in a cage. What a pity that he gave Greg his guns. A sense of powerlessness made him angry. These freaks! Tony and Martin didn't even have time to get to the fence, as they were intercepted by a group of men in black with automatic weapons at ready. Without question, these people tied them down and dragged into this house. Tony tried to remember the road, but he lived in the city all his life, and all the trees for him were absolutely the same. How do these people orient themselves in this freakish place?!
Martin was immediately dragged away somewhere, and Tony was locked up. Of course, he tried to break the door, smash the window or irritate the guards by screaming bloody murder. But everything was in vain, the door was made of a single piece of wood and did not yield to anything, there were thick iron bars on the windows. And the guards did not pay any attention to him at all. They should be really thick-skinned!
Then Anthony changed tactics. He fell silent and listened. There was a noise in the house. People ran here and there. One loud voice could be heard clearly. Suddenly, the movement outside the window distracted Tony. He saw a wolf running through the clearing from the trees to the house. Tony recognized this black predator at once. By the size, it must be an adult wolf, but somehow Tony felt that this was just a pup. The one who was helping them back in woods
The puppy climbed onto the porch and began to scratch the door. Tony watched with interest the strange behavior of the beast. The next second the door opened. First, a big man with a shaved head and an impressive beard came out onto the porch, And behind him were a few other men in black. The wolf whirled at their feet and rushed back to the forest, stopping at a time and looking back, as if calling. Surprisingly, they all ran after it without hesitation.
Ten minutes after this small group disappeared behind the tree line, the same wolf pup rushed out again, only this time a familiar black wolf was walking behind him. Then, a few steps behind appeared a bold man with companions. Tony froze, seeing that one of them was caring Greg on his back. One bloody hand hung over the shoulder of the man, and his friend seemed to be unconscious. The second guy helped to secure him from behind. The big guy with the beard was carrying someone else. His leather jacket completely concealed the silhouette but judging by the outline this something was definitely heavy.
Tony turned around to try to get the attention of the guards again, but the door was open. A beautiful, petite girl with all the curves in right places and short hair of warm chocolate color propped in the doorway. For some reason, all the words left him at once. Tony could only open and close his mouth like a fish on land, staring at the guest. On the girl's face appeared and immediately disappeared surprise. She cleared her throat and spoke in a soft, slightly hoarse voice that made a wave of goosebumps passed through Tony's body:
"Mr. Akardo, can you shut up, please?! Your friend is resting, he has already been taken care of, and the doctor asked me to reason with you. Otherwise, he will come here himself and make you shut up with every means."
Tony mentally kicked himself, trying to get his mind out of a strange trance. For some reason, it was very difficult to concentrate on her words. His eyes were glued to her lips, the way she moved them, so plump, cherry ... Anthony had to pinch himself to snap out of it.
"Why are you holding us here? Martin and Greg need to go to the hospital. You don't even realize who are you detaining!" - he said as harshly and firmly as possible. But as soon as the girl frowned, he immediately wanted to apologize or kiss this wrinkle between her eyebrows better. What's the hell wrong with him ?!
"Mr. Akardo, I don't care who you and your friends are. You trespassed into private territory, at night and shot, wounding several rare wild animals. We have already helped one of your friends. As soon as the doctor pech up the second, we will send you home. So until then behave decently. Do not distract the medical personnel." - She cut off, then looked oddly at him again and shook her head, as if disappointed. Without letting Tony open his mouth, she then slammed the door leaving him puzzled.
As soon as she disappeared, Tony felt like the last drop of straight left him. Only her face was as if scorched at the back of his mind, still standing before his eyes.
After an hour and a half of waiting, the door opened again. Tony's heart leaped up and immediately collapsed when he saw in the threshold the big bold guy from before.
"Let's go," - The guy issued a short order and left. Tony had no choice but to follow him. Martin was already carried out on a stretcher into the vast drawing-room. He was pale, but his hand was bandaged quite professionally and in the second hand was stuck a cord from the dripper, which was carried by one of the guys in black. They headed for the exit. Tony looked around for Greg.
"Mr. Wells is already in the car. His wound is not so serious, Lana will look after him," - as if reading his thoughts, a bearded man growled near his ear.
"Lana? What the hell is going on here? Who you are?" - Finally snapped Tony. He made a sharp turn and got straight into this big guy's face.
"No, it's you who should explain this to me." - Not at all embarrassed replied the big man. - "Lana with the children came to celebrate my birthday. They planned to stay the night. And than you for some reason, brock into the thickest part of the Park started firing. Do you even imagine how many law suites I can through at you guys now?! What the hell were you doing there? If it were not for Lana, I would have called the police long ago!"
Tony didn't know what to say. The situation really looked stupid.
"We were attacked by wolves! Of course, we defended ourselves!" - in an attempt to somehow justify himself blurted out Tony.
" Are you completely psycho ?! It's the Wolf Wildlife Sanctuary! Who were you expecting here? Giraffes?" - Yelled the man, literally shoving Tony out the door. - "Google it before breaking in, damn morons!"
Two cars were parked in front of the house. In the first one, two guys in black was settling Martin, and in the second in the back seat, the head of the fair-haired girl could be seen. Tony came closer. Through the window, he could see her bending over a man who was half lying on her lap, with one hand she supported his head, and the other gently stroked his face and whispered something. The face was tear-stained. But even so you could immediately appreciate how pretty she was. Even if Anthony had not seen her there, at the airport, it was easy to guess who this girl was. Lana.
In the front seat, he met the two pairs of equally blue eyes.
There was a very young girl with long black curls and a young guy with the same as his sister dark hair only in a short-cut and a piercing cold stare. Nicky and Vicky - Tony guessed, remembering Frank's story.
"Can you hurry it up?" - Barked bold man with a noticeable amount of irritation in his voice. He was standing behind him all this time. Tony chased away the strange feeling of unreality of everything that was happening and silently walked to the first car with Martin in it.
Climbed the front seat, he still looked behind, searching for something. As if he had forgotten something, but he could not remember what. Cars started at once and rolled along a narrow road, cracking gravel. But still Tony could not take his eyes off the rearview mirror. What did he forget?
