"Marina, you can't do this to me!" - Greg didn't have enough words to express how much he was angry with his sister. It's been two weeks now, and his irritation only seemed to grow. And everyone around seemed to fuel his bad mood. All his friends suddenly became very busy. Tony went to another city, to work on a new deal, Mike started training, and when he did not practice, he either ate or slept, Paul took on a big case and did not have time to eat or sleep, and Frank seems to be avoiding Greg. So he could not find anyone to throw at his negative emotions. And now Marina suddenly packed her suitcase and left, telling him about it only when she landed at the airport in Mumbai.
"Listen, Greg, don't act like a drama queen. You whine like an abandoned child. I already agreed on everything. My assistants will cope without me. There is no need for my permanent presence there. You should understand that this can be a real breakthrough. Did you see the preliminary reports that I send you on the email? It's just fantastic. If everything turns out well, it will be a breakthrough not only in the defense area but in many others."
"Yes Yes. I saw the reports. But Marina, this can be another fluke. On paper, everything always looks much better than in reality. Your trip may be in vain."- Greg tried to reason with his sister.
"Brother, you've always been too careful. But, please understand, without taking risks, without trying, without rushing into it, we will never achieve success. You can feel the soil as much as you like, but some places you can only run through at the max speed. Hesitate, and you're dead. So calm down and trust me."
Greg grumbled something unhappy, scrolling through his sister's mail.
" OK, I understand. I'll try to cover you up here. But what about your lectures in college? I can't do it all. Besides, who knows how much you will be away. I do one or two lecture, but you know, its impossible for me to do all this student-professor relationships thing."
"Oh, come on Greg, your problems with recognizing faces only apply to women. Most of my students are guys. Plus you always whine that we do not have enough specialists. So put your hand to nurturing a new generation."
"Marina, you do not even know what you're asking for," he sighed bitterly. But Marina could already feel his stance weakening because she quickly said goodbye to him and hung up before Greg had a chance to change his mind.
Greg turned back to the laptop. The documents sent by Marina were already opened on the screen. Reports on the project very were promising.
Nanochips that can aggravate the reaction, perception and at the same time relieve the stress from the nervous and cardiac system in stressful situations showed real and thus almost fantastic results. It's a pity that between the reports Greg did not immediately notice the curriculum and the schedule of Marina's lectures. He could have come up with at least an excuse. And now Greg had to do it. Sometimes it seemed to him that he was giving in too often to his relatives.
With another sorrowful sigh, he began to review the plan of studies. He generally liked to teach, although students could sometimes be rare assholes. And in college, he often thought that only a person who loves to listen to his own voice could become a teacher. This, of course, was the truth. His voice was fabulous!
Seems like he should start to treat it more seriously, Perhaps then Greg will be able to find at least a couple of little assholes, who will not grow into the big assholes that he met every day at work.
