Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Well Shit

As lightning flashes and rain pounds the earth, a young man can be seen watching a stream on his computer with his TV on the news channel in the background. The stream is from the Yugioh TCG World Championship. On the table where his monitor is, piles and piles of yugioh cards can be seen strewn across the keyboard. Suddenly, the TV blares an alarm and a female reporter goes on air. On the bottom left corner of the screen, a helicopter view of a large vehicle zooming towards the young man's house can be seen.

"Breaking News"

"An oil tanker is sliding down main street at more than 100 kilometers an hour. All civilians are advised to stay in their homes."

Suddenly, the tanker accelerates causing many more cars to swerve into trees to avoid turning into roadkill.

The young man is intently watching his computer screen; waiting for the final move that will end the duel.

Unfortunately, he never gets to see it.

In the moment of suspense, a thunderous crash envelopes his mind as the tanker barrels through his front door, shattering the houses infrastructure and then coming to a grinding halt after smashing the room into paste.

Only two words come to the poor guy's mind as his life flashes before his eyes

'Well Shit'

Finally, as the roof collapses, a stray spark from the demolished television ignites the gasoline, turning the house into a plume of fire.

Needless to say, that guy is dead now. Or that's what he thinks at least.

After an excruciating period of floating in a void of pitch black nothingness, he gets sucked into a whirlpool resembling the back of the cards that he loves so much.

And then, he hears a feminine voice similar to that of Siri.

"Yugioh system has integrated with host"

"reconstructing body"
