The wilderness was limitless, crowded, and rich. Its canopy was competed for by juniper, hawthorn, and pine, and the occasional beam of light that made its way through the canopy allowed for a collection of saplings to grow in the rich grounds below.
Bundled branches waved from many a tree, and a mishmash of flowers, which were found in the quietest places, brightened up the otherwise uniform view.
A mixture of animal noises, which were caused by small creatures, echoed in the air and overpowered the occasional roar of a large animal trying to scare away predators.
Shakti, let out a rambunctious scream, creating a sound that echoed a little tumbling down through the thick branches.
A mixture of birds, squirrels, and small creatures scattered away due to the mysterious and unexpected intruder, fell from the sky. Her small frame was bruised with scars and red crimson drizzled out from her pale yellow skin. The girl on the ground groaned, as blood dripped through her ears, dyeing her jet black hairs into pinkish-purpll. Her face pained with exertion and extortion.
Shakti, along with her friends came to the woods for an adventurous trip. From day one of this trip, she wasn't interested, but her friends won't leave her. They pestered and even blackmailed her to a point where she has to join in the adventure. If it hadn't because of them, she would be now, sitting in her rented apartment with coke and chips in front of her, watching a boring program.
Now that she is lying there on the ground unable to move an inch. She trembled with fear and exertion, alone in the woods with no one next to her.
Seconds turned into minutes, time passed quickly as the blue sky smeared with the tinted yellow beam, letting the twilight shown in the dense forest.
Shakti struggled to stay awake, she moaned as her body couldn't bear the pain. She prayed to God in her heart to send her some help.
Little far away from the woods, a loud shrill filled the dense woods. The unknown shrieks deepend followed by one another.
Fear.
A new fear rose in her. She could hear her heart thump fast, blood rushing through her veins. Her breathing shortened, making her skin turn pale.
She struggled to move, but alas, she couldn't move an inch. Due to the high fall on the ground from the hill top, her back bone was hurt. When she tried to move it put a lot of pressure on her bone marrow. Her eyes brimmed with tears, unable to bear the pain.
Shakti at the moment could only think, how she can escape from this disaster. She badly wanted to cry for help, but the loud shrills silenced her desire.
Moments passed, anticipation was eating her slowly. Just then, a sudden shriek was heard next to her. Her body froze, as the shadow appeard in her black orbs.
