"The one thousand participants have been selected. They all have a white bracelet with my Sect's insignia on it. How you train these chosen ones is your choice." After saying this much, the warriors all vanished with a blur.
Although Jacq heard these words loud and clear, he was still dazed. Against all odds, he had been selected as one of the thousand. After The God System activated, he had hoped to become a cultivator, however he did not expect it to be achieved so soon. He would definitely become a cultivator by expanding his knowledge, however it would have taken quite a bit of time and some major luck. With this bracelet, that time was significantly shortened. The more dangerous a situation is, the higher the rewards for overcoming it.
Even though he was shocked by the unexpected development, he realized he was slowly beginning to accept the situation. This was due to The God System. His mind became stable and he was ready to move on to the next challenge. Dorathi looked at him from the side without saying anything. She had initially prepared to lure the light over towards Jacq, as she had planned on leading him off of Earth one way or another. The bracelet was actually a token shaped as such for easier use. This may seem like a big invention, but for someone of Dorathi's rank, this was child's play. Even still, she was genuinely shocked.
"Good job controlling the token and getting Jacq a slot," The Loli Goddess did a slow clap as she spoke up.
"The token refused to acknowledge my command and proceeded as if possessed... I guess Jacq was always meant to participate in this time pass," the sarcastic clap stopped abruptly after Dorathi replied.
"So the fate seal has finally opened on Earth?" She asked while tilting her head to the side.
"Looks like it," Said Dorathi.
Unknown to Jacq, this conversation was taking place right next to him. He couldn't hear or see the small girl while Dorathi responded with her Spiritual communication device. He stared at the bracelet. It was made of some material he had never seen before, and he spent a few weeks studying various materials so that was saying something. He tried to scratch the bracelet and even attempted to break it off with a hammer he found after searching for a bit. No matter how much he tried, there would not even be a scratch. Giving up, he started to take a closer look at the bracelet.
The bracelet seemed to tighten around his wrist with enough space for his blood to flow without being disturbed. Width was only thirteen millimeters and there was a small rectangular box on top which was slightly less in width than the bracelet itself and twice as long. In short, it looked like a watch. He could see a shape that looked like a capitalized E followed by a seven pointed star which was closed off with a long oval shaped eye. This pattern kept repeating around the bracelet.
"The people who have been chosen by the light must respond to the nearest police station as soon as possible so that we may begin our training immediately," a voice was heard. Jacq looked up and saw the current head of the Universal Defense Pact issuing the previous statement. Although it looked like everything was being rushed, there was nothing he could do. The only good thing was the training would last for three weeks and Jacq would be allowed back home for the remaining days. Theoretically, there should have been 7 days left after training, but with so many people selected around the various parts of the planet, it would be a miracle to even have 2 days left.
Jacq waited a day before reporting in to the nearby police station, he knew he could waste a day since there would be nothing beneficial in going early. The officers would not train people one at a time and would rather do training in bulks. Taking the opportunity, Jacq went around the neighborhood to see the various sights which he would probably never see again. Following along with him was Dorathi, together they both looked like a mother and son strolling the area. After spending his time with her, Jacq reported himself to the authorities and waited for the further directions.
Total of three days had passed since the selection before all one thousand people were gathered in a facility to train them. The training had started after the group was divided into different groups. There were the five hundred military personnel which went off to a section of it's own to undergo elite training. The remaining five hundred were split into groups of it's own. Some people had no experience while others could rival some military soldiers. Even though it was said to be random, there seemed to be a clear line of what was the lowest degree of fitness a person had while being selected. Overall the selection seemed to be in their favor.
The group Jacq was in belonged to the stronger half of the remaining five hundred. Even though people questioned the choice of their instructors, their doubts were cleared with Jacq's performance. He may be young but he had been working on his body for quite some time. There was even an impressive scar on his shoulder which could be seen when he was changing his clothes. His quiet attitude made him known as the Silent Elite. Along with The God System's help, Jacq learned everything the instructors threw at him at a very alarming speed. Even his progress in the physical field over shadowed the older men in the group.
People would be upset would be upset to see such a prodigy show up near them but after remembering what was at stake, they would drop the differences and try their best to catch up or help each other as much as possible. As time quickly flew, the three weeks were up and Jacq was allowed back to his house. He stood at his front doors looking more mature than he did when he left for the training. He clearly worked himself hard, even the neighbors celebrated his change. The stronger he was, the more chance they had to survive this mess.
After spending a few hours receiving guests and gifts, Jacq spent the remaining time with Dorathi. He found her to be more of a motherly figure for him than anything, he had even started to forget what his mother and father looked like with all that had happened to him. The last thing Dorathi gave him was a box, saying it was a gift for him from his parents. They wanted her to give it to him when he became a legal adult, the age of eighteen in his area. After bidding her good night, he sat in his room with the item in his hand.
He had spent a lot more time than he had expected with Dorathi and the following morning he would be going with the rest to the planet Gyoaph. Seeing that he was mentally drained from today's shock of receiving an item that could be considered an inheritance, Jacq put the item in his backpack which he would be taking with him. Right now he was too tired to enjoy his gift, but the same couldn't be said when he entered Gyoaph. He would need time to adjust himself there and that would be the best place to look through his gift.

In a room that belonged to the Spaceship of the Galaxy Warriors there was a man who knocked at the door of a certain Elder.
"Fifth Elder the time is almost upon us for the selection of this batch. The other Elders wish to know if you wish to participate in the gambling den tomorrow," his dry voice sounded.
"Tell those fools to wait until the event actually start. They should learn to have more patience and as for you slave, go prepare the Spirit Stones for me. My current supply of them has is finished and I require more," the hunched back Elder replied in a foul mood. He laid on his side as his back brought him immense pain. Cursing the mothers of these foolish younger generation of elders, he squeezed the stone in his hand hard. After draining it's power which caused it to crumble into dust, he closed his eyes.
"Hopefully our Obsidian Snake Sect will finally have a decent batch of seeds. Unexplored planets tend to give birth to more geniuses than we think," He said to himself as he relaxed. The slave heard the Elder and had a sparkle that showed momentarily in his eyes before he left.
