"Please come inside! I'm sure there is much for you to tell us! I've got some porridge being made right now!"
The farmer turned around and stood to the side, inviting the cultivator back to his home.
"Ah, thank you for your generosity."
She lowered her head before following him.
As the pair approached the building, Ming Yue felt several eyes on her. She didn't sense any hostility in those gazes but they were wary of her.
"Must be the queen and her escorts", she thought.
They came towards a short set of stairs that led to the entrance of the house as it was elevated above the water level. Immediately, the soldiers and the other cultivators surrounded the woman like a shield when Ming Yue came.
"Hey, what are you all doing?! Don't just block my view like that!" the woman protested.
Ming Yue saw her through the gaps, hitting her guards with as much strength as she could. She was quite young, maybe sixteen or seventeen years old.
