When Jake entered the house, he found his mum sewing on the chair near the chimney. The fire on, the room is warm it was like a painting. Jake kissed his mum head and sit beside her. They talked about their day and what they did until the dinner time. After Jake entered his room, he left for the Farm zone to check with Daisy.
He found her sleeping on the sofa, he went to take a shower to fresh up himself after a busy day.
"Daisy so what's up with the System mission and you explain it to me in details," Jake said
"You need to sell 200 potatoes, that's all you need to do. Are you stupid that you don't even understand the mission? The duration is two weeks that all you need to do, plus once you finish the mission you will level up Meow" Daisy was annoyed because I interrupted her little nap.
" Then Daisy the mission is to sell them but it didn't say where so can I sell them to the store. " Said Jake wondering about it, if he can sell them to the store he can get a good price then buy some other seed.
" Jake, you need to stop using your head too much, I will not have fun then. Yes, you can sell them" Daisy was angry, she kept hitting my head and face.
Jake felt good he found a loophole that can get money from, he could easily sell them to the restaurant but he first need to understand the system and feel the water in the restaurant.
" Jake I forgot to tell you something, you might think its an easy mission well it is easy because you are still a level one user, the mission gets harder as you level up and you can't level up unless you finish the mission, you need to feel the exps bar and finish the mission to level up Meow" Said Daisy, she went to the bedroom and left me alone.
Tomorrow I need to tell miss Donno about the contract, yes, we agreed on the term, but we need a contract to ensure our rights. Jon looks like an important person in the kingdom, I think the paperwork will be easy.
Jake went to sleep, he sets the alarm at five in the morning. Jake wakes up, wash his face, cleaned his teeth and left the room. He asked Daisy how his progress was, she told them that his exp is full he just need to finish the mission. He will finish it at night today because he has 300 potatoes now so by the end of the day he will have enough, he brought some bags, so he can fill them with potatoes and the other fruits and vegetable.
Jake left the house without disturbing his mum he already told her yesterday that he's going to the town in the morning. As he is passing the living room he found some food on the table. His mums were thinking about him even while she is asleep, so this is mother care. Jake ate everything on the table.
Jake was in front of the gate waiting for Mike he brought nine bags each in total, four potatoes and one for the rest. Mike came with the wagon. They put everything in the back and they started their journey.
They arrived at the rising sun, the town was still empty, the guards let them in, Jon must have told them about us. When they arrived, the shop was still closed, so we kept waiting. Coming early is better than coming late.
"Mike what did you think about the negotiation that happened between me, Donna and Jon, " Jake asked
"Well to tell you the truth, I was working at a merchant shop as carrying boy. I heard some of his deal although I was busy moving the delivery to the stock room, I was still listing to him when he makes a deal. Comparing to you he was lousy, your way straightforward hitting the point, you don't have the tricks and schemes." Said Mike.
"When you want something to act like you want, for example, I was sure that my ingredients were good, I believed that I could sell in any place, when you put this in your mind you can suck the other person mind and make him under your control. Like I said before, search for the target, think outside the box, believe in yourself and aim for the weak spot." Jake said
We kept talking until Donna and Suzan show up.
"Good morning Donna and Suzan how are you today, here I have four bags of potatoes, one bag each of onion, green onion, beets, carrots and apples if it was not enough I will bring some more tomorrow morning." Said, Jake, while greeting them.
"We are good, thank you for your concern, I think it will be enough but if I need more I will tell you but make sure you pass by our shop to know," Donna said. She was excited this morning she couldn't sleep well last night.
After carrying everything to the stock room that was in the kitchen, I told Mike to stay with Suzan and understand how everything works in the shop. I will make Mike be the responsibility of the shop checking the account book and telling me everything is happening in the shop.
Jake and Donna went to the office that was on the second floor of the shop. The room was small, but it has a desk, bookshelves and a sofa for guest to sit.
"Jake here is the contract tell me if you don't like something so we can figure it out." Said Donna handing while me the contract.
Jake looked at it. The contract summarizes what we talked about yesterday. Jake will have 49% of the shop but Jake needs to provide the ingredient for the restaurant. Every month Jake will get his share of profits. Jake can't sell the farm ingredient to any other restaurant or Jake will pay 300 gold coins fine if Jake breaks the contract. There are other things each party need to stick with. Looking at the contract it was good, so Jake signs the contract with a big smile.
Out of nowhere, the Daisy's voice came into my head.
" Congratulate, the user finished the mission and he is able to level up, Do you want to level up Meow?" Daisy said in my head.
WHAT, this transaction also made me finish the mission. Think about it, it seems logical, in a way, I sold the potatoes, so I levelled up, it looks cliché, but I sold the potatoes in a way.
"No, I will do it later, go back to sleep Daisy," said Jake in his mind.
"Jake now that we are partners in the shop do you have any suggestions," Donna said. Handing him some tea.
"Well if you may, I do have a small suggestion, as you know the ingredient that I provide are delicious when you cook them so how about you raise the price of food that uses the ingredients, if people like them they will eat them anyway without carrying about the prize they want the taste, the good food so what you say, you can increase the sale every week until you find the right price. Trust me, if someone tried your food once they won't able to eat in another place because its delightful" Said Jake drinking the tea.
